Fong Lye Taiwanese Restaurant @ The Gardens has been reviewed by a lot of floggers. So, I can’t “tahan” already & dragged my hubby there on one weekend afternoon.
Although there was a long queue when I reached there, I didn’t give up as I came there for the FOOD!!! Luckily we didn’t have to wait in line for long 
Chrysanthemum Oolong Tea – RM 12.00 / pot for 2pax (refillable)
Cute porcelain teapot set, felt like want to bring it home lah!!!
3 variety supreme diced chicken Set (3-cup chicken) – RM 19.80
This big set came with some French Bean, Fried Wonton, half portion of braised egg, a soup & minced meat rice.
Side dishes
Bittergourd Soup
Minced meat rice, but unlike the real Taiwanese version which has more fat meat, this dish has more lean meat 
Glossy looking diced chicken meat served in a pipping hot wok with aroma of basil leaves.
Q : Why it is called 3 cups chicken?
A : Because 3 different ingredients are used for this dish -1 cup of soy sauce, 1 cup of sesame oil & 1 cup of rice wine.
Pig Intestine Mee Sua – RM 9.80
Actually it is my 1st time in eating pig intestine & fortunately it didn’t taste funny
The texture of the intestine was quite chewy & flavorful. The starchy mee sua is definitely gonna make you stuffed . It also made me sweat because chilli oil was added into it.
