>Everybody have their preference to Bak Kut Teh. Some like it with thick soup aka Hokkien style which have dense herbal taste while some like the clear version aka Teow Chew style. Other than soup version, there was dry Bak Kut Teh too which become my favorite now, so I hardly have soup version nowadays.
Thanks to Astro TV program “Taste with Jason” let me know about Mo Sang Kor which established since 1972 at Klang & still commands a huge fans following until now. They had spread their wings to Kepong, Puchong & even Hutong food court at Lot 10, KL. (Ya, in a shopping mall!!!! A good revolution!!! Now we can have PORK in a food court at shopping mall!!!)
Dai Guat (大骨) aka big bone – RM 10.00
The soup tastes like a cross of very flavorful, condensed Bak Kut Teh soup and braised pork gravy. This limited soup is heavenly delicious and so precious until soup refilling is not entertained here
The skin was soft & gelatinous (melt in your mouth type) and the meat was tender & toothsome.
