Since my last year experience of indulging MIGF Festival Menu of the participated restaurant I was looking forward to this most anticipated fine dining event of the year! My first taste of MIGF 2011 led me to Senja @ The Saujana Kuala Lumpur.

Dim lighting, plush chairs , pristine wooden flooring & bar area. Decor of such restaurant feature convey promises of an enjoyable dining experience. Perfect for a romantic date too.
Our dinner start off with focaccia bread served with olives, sun-dried tomato dip & creamy cheese dip.
Terrina di Verdure Grigliate e Mozzarella di Bufala (Vegetables Terrine and Buffalo Mozzarella)
The combination of grilled carrot, zucchini and eggplant arranged prettily with buffalo mozzarella within and served with a parmesan fondue, basil juice and extra virgin olive oil. A very light & refreshing start.
Raviolo al Nero, Salmone e Caviale (Squid Ink Ravioli, Smoked Salmon and Caviar)
Squid ink ravioli with smoked salmon filling served with beurre blanc sauce. I enjoyed the salmon roes & black caviar bursting in my mouth
Alaskan Filetto di Merluzzo, Vellutata di Cannellini, Asparagi Bianchi (Seared Alaskan Cod Fish, Cannellini Bean Velvet and White Asparagus)
Fresh & succulent sillver cod from the Atlantic Ocean was lightly seared & placed on bed of green & white asparagus. Eat together with the velvety smooth Cannellini beans cream really enhanced the sweetness of the fish! Oh boy, this has gotten me really ecstatic!
Tiramisu dello Chef Giovanni (Chef Giovanni’s Tiramisu)
Our meal ended with a traditional / a must have Italian dessert ~ Tiramisu. A well balance flavors from the mascarpone cheese, coffee & the berries, definitely on a stellar level!
