Chicago Rib House

While everyone is focusing at the newly refurbished old wing at 1 Utama and rave about the Eat Paradise, Isetan, I’m still exploring some of the restaurants at (old?) new wing ^_^

Cheese Nachos

Crispy tortilla chips topped with shredded chicken, cheese and diced tomatoes served along with salsa and sour cream dip.

 

Since they are famous for their Pork Ribs, naturally this was one of our orders! There are 6 different flavours – Original, Honey Garlic, Black Pepper,  Flaming Kansas City and Bourbon Sauce.

Pork Ribs  ~ Original (Full Rack)

The ribs were slow roasted in hickory wood which gave it a pleasant smoky flavor and the thickly coated BBQ sauce enhanced the original meat flavor.

 

Pork Ribs ~ Flamming Kansas City (Full Rack)

Also slow roasted in hickory wood with extra process of  flamed in front of you with a dash of whiskey poured on top. It’s show time!

The ribs were falling-off-the-bone tender with tinge of alcohol after taste. The combination of texture and flavors are just spot on and definitely beating the previous version hands down :P

 

Choice of 2 sides served with your pork ribs ~  We had Fragrant Rice & Mashed Potato.

 

The aftermath~ Clean and Finger-licking-good!

 

Hickory BBQ Bacon Burger

Tall ensemble of thick pork patty, crispy bacon, cheese, tomato, lettuce and caramelized onion sandwiched between toasted buns. Decent and satisfying~

 

BBQ Chicken Pizza

Thin crunchy crust topped with plentiful of cheese, caramelized onion, dressed in sweet and tangy barbeque sauce.

 

Brownie Royale

The brownie was not too soft topped with a scoop of Vanilla ice cream then drizzled with chocolate syrup and sprinkles of almond flakes. It was executed perfectly but I wish the portion can be a little more bigger :P

 

Chicago’s Cheese Cake

I think there was too much strawberry syrup for the cheese cake, do you feel so? @@

Verdict: A correct place to fix your meaty craving and I’m eyeing on their “Kids Eat For FREE” promotion *kiasu-ness of a mother*

    Tho the food is good, but i feel that their prices are slightly on the higher side, which will be much better if they could reduce their prices a bit, not to forget their extra plus 10% plus 6% too
