During my 4D3N at Hong Kong we stayed at Metropark Hotel Kowloon which I booked online at HotelClub 2 months before the trip.

Metropark Hotel Kowloon situated at the heart of Kowloon in Hong Kong and provides quite an easy access to Hong Kong’s major shopping areas and commercial area, such as the Langham Place and the Grand Century Place.

The hotel is near subway and railway stations within walking distance of around 10 minutes walk from Yaumatei/Mongkok MTR stations and 8 minutes walk from Mong Kok East station and free shuttle bus service every half an hour to and from Mong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui is provided. (But the gripe is the bus is quite small with very limited seats so is better you check the schedule and wait at the lobby on time)

The check-in lobby at the 2nd floor.

Our room at 5th floor

Deluxe room for 3 night: RM 974 ++

Approximately 22 square meters with a queen size bed , carpeted floor, a couch and had most of the amenities that one would need such as a LCD TV, study desk, free broadband Internet access, wardrobe, electronic safety deposit box safe, mini bar, coffee-making facilities and some toiletries. We was satisfied with the room which is pretty spacious (for Hong Kong standard :P ) and the room was clean & tidy too.

LCD TV and working desk but the dressing table was missing :(

The coffee making facilities (camouflaged in the TV cabinet)

Some snack and alcohols (chargeable)

Clean bathroom

The shower booth (without bathtub)

The toiletries

Water features at hotel lobby with colourful lighting.

The rooftop swimming pool & gym room.

Metropark Hotel Kowloon is facilitated four restaurant outlets such as Tang Chinese Restaurant serve  delicate Chinese delicacies and dim sums prepared by the award-winning chefs, Palm Court Western Restaurant serve nternational lunch and dinner buffets, Sip Sip Bar and the hotel’s own bakery, Cake Shop.

Verdict: Overall we were pleased with our stay at Metropark Hotel Kowloon and they provide all the basic amenities that one would need for a hotel stay. There are 7-11, bus station, bakeries shop and eateries located within a minutes walk from the hotel which is pretty convenient.
