Impiana KLCC Hotel is all set for the New Lunar Year of the Earth Pig with opulent Chinese New Year Eve Buffet Dinner and Chinese New Year High Tea at Tonka Bean Café & Deli this festive season. Dinners also can indulge in the Chinese New Year exquisite set menus specially crafted by culinary team which available from 15 January to 19 February 2019 through prior reservation.

Thank you for the invitation from Impiana KLCC Hotel, I had a sneak preview of their Chinese New Year Eve Buffet Dinner.

A Chinese New Year dinner would not be complete without the traditional toss of Yee Sang for prosperity and good fortune. Salmon, Jelly Fish and Snow Pear Yee Sang will be available as part of the buffet for the celebratory toss. Diners can customize their Yee Sang with an array of ingredients of fresh vegetables, pickles and crisps.

 

The festive buffet spread was filled with lip smacking Chinese favourites awaits diners and these include Fried Red Snapper with Sweet and Sour Pineapple Sauce, Chinese-style Prawn Salad with Orange Mayonnaise, Kam Heong Tiger Prawns, Deep Fried Glutinous Balls, Braised Vegetables with Dried Scallop Sauce, and many more.

 

The buffet spread also showcased a sumptuous list of local and international cuisine, all spread out for easy enjoyment.

Chilled Seafood on Ice, Sashimi and Sushi.

 

Check out the DIY salad bar and enjoy the varieties of local and international salads, kerabus and cold cuts such as Sliced Abalone with Small Chili, Mini Octopus with Mango Salad, Tuna Salad with Tomato and French Beans, Pasta Salad and Smoked Mackerel.

 

Don’t forget to visit the carving station for Roasted Lamb and Vegetables. 

 

The hot buffet offers plenty of dishes an array of international and local dishes for diners to make their selection. Curry with Seafood, Tempoyak Ikan Patin, Daging Kerutub, Chicken Khoruma, Stir Fried Indian Vegetables with Spices, Fried Butter Crab with Chili and Curry Leaves, Roasted Stuffed Chicken Breast, Sauteed Potato with Garlic and Chili Flakes and both Chinese Double Boiled Soup and Western soup paired with buns.

  

Another favorite station would be the BBQ Grill Station featuring grilled chicken, lamb and seafood.

The dessert corner is such a lovely sight and laden with a plethora of colorful and tasty sweet treats. Each one as good if not better than another so do save room for these sublime creations.

 

Kid’s favourite chocolate fountain with skewers of fruits, marshmallow and mini macarons.

 

Last but no least, ended the splendid meal with some fresh fruit scoops of Baskin-Robbins ice cream. Buffet diners can enjoy a free flow of house pouring wine and beer as well.
