es.sense kitchen @ Holiday Inn Melaka

After a short nap in our room we proceeded to Holiday Inn Melaka in house cafe ~ es.sense kitchen to have our late lunch as our tummies were growling because our previous meal was at KL which was approximately 7 hours ago >_<

The restaurant was minimalistic with straight forward, wooden furniture.  There are glass panel windows which allow plenty of natural light flowing in.

A more private section with special partition at the end of the restaurant.

There is also ample outdoor seating with sweeping views over the Straits of Melaka for those who prefer al-fresco dining.

Let’s check out the hi-tea buffet spread!

The spread was fairly decent and what excited me the most definitely the BBQ grill station set at the balcony of the restaurant. The selection might not be the widest I’ve seen but pleasant smoky aroma was enough to make you drooling over the food on the grill 😛

Malaysian’s favourite food ~ satay. I prefer the chicken skewer which were more tender than the beef & lamb version.
