Flingstones Cafe @ SS15, Subang Jaya
I love my Hokkien Mee with lots of pork lard aka chu yao char as they contribute the essential aroma and taste for the braised noodles several notches up. But what if the pork lard meets pasta? How would it be? Fret not, as Flingstones Cafe has exactly what I have in mind!
Flingstones Cafe’s casual and modern interior with urban industrial design draws a clamouring crowd at the busy stretches of SS15 in Subang Jaya, Selangor. The dark-toned space with wooden tables and metal chairs is illuminated by natural light from the glass windows.
Adorable knick-knack decorated the place.
Long Black (RM 8.00)
Artisan Hot Tea (RM 9.00)
Chu Yao Char Angelhair (RM 18.00)
Big Bang Breakfast (RM 25.00), Add on sausage (RM 4.00)
A platter of porky bacon, pork sausages, crispy hash browns, fried egg, baked beans, sautéed cherry tomatoes and mushrooms and toast.
Verdict: The food is good enough to for a return visit to check out the remainder of their swine-laden menu.

I love pork lard, and I’m happy to eat a lot of it, so I can definitely finish the full plate of pasta :)))
Me too huge fan of pork lard, love that aroma and crunchiness 😛
The next time you’re there, do give the Babi Fried Rice a try…..with 3 types of porky goodness…chee yau char, lap cheong and pork bacon…triple yay! 😉
ya ya, I saw others sharing the photo of the Babi Fried Rice, so tempting to try!
