GO Noodle House 有间面馆 @ Jaya One
Needs no further introduction, GO Noodle House 有间面馆 having appeased customer with its trusty bowl of noodles in superior soup for years. Currently has 15 branches in Klang Valley, Penang & Genting Highlands, these outlets are often thronged with people whenever I passed by any of them.
My first visit was at Jaya One and the restaurant was brimming with a robust lunch crowd as per expected. We got our number (yes, they do have a queuing system) and were usher to our table after 20 minutes of waiting.
The restaurant’s ancient Chinese interior will immediately transport you back to a couple of centuries back which resemble a casual restaurant of Qing Dynasty era. Wooden furniture, red lanterns, name of the dishes on bamboo and Chinese couplet (Chun Lian) being plastered on the wall, as well as a big wooden signage that says 天下第一麵 (Best Noodle in The World).
Tables are cramped within the main dining area, there are seats at the walkway as well.
Shoe polisher, anyone tried?
The wine bottles in the restaurant not only as decoration but part of them also owned by diners which we can purchased from the restaurant and add into their noodles soup. There are choices of three to thirty-year-aged of Chinese rice wine绍兴花雕酒, splash a spoonful of wine definitely can elevate the flavors of the soup but I’m not fan of it, perhaps you can try and let me know?
Milk Tea (RM3.50)
Beverage choices is quite limited, soft drinks, soya bean, cincau, herbal tea, Chinese tea, coffee, milk tea and desserts of soya pudding & Gui Ling Gao.
You can select between Mi Xian (米线) or Bee Hoon (vermicelli) , to go with a superior soup (三鲜汤) or homemade spicy soup (秘制辣香汤). The wide list of ingredients to go with your noodles vary from beef/pork belly/fish slices, their signature bursting meatballs, fish balls, fish paste, clam, frog (田鸡), scallop, blue mussels and more.
Superior Soup Bursting Meat Ball (三鲜汤浆爆丸) @ RM10.40 + Add on Pork Balls (RM3.00)
We had Mi Xian in Superior Soup with their signature Bursting Meat Ball and extra order of pork balls. The portion was decent, good to be shared by Sam and myself. The broth looked clear but showcased a satisfying dimension of flavours with subtle hint of wine. I love the Mi Xian too, slippery smooth yet not slouchy on the texture which had us compulsively slurping up each strand with gusto. Oh ya, an extra brownie point for that generous amount of vegetables (I got baby bok choy that day), chopped spring onion and coriander too!
The Bursting Meat Ball, although not something new to me but they were delicious with bouncy texture filled with tasty and juicy minced meat in the center.
Superior Soup Pork Belly Slices (RM12.50)
For the price paid, I was more than satiated with the pork belly slices I got in my bowl of noodles.
For those who prefer extra kick for your noodles or snacks, try their house made chili sauce! Fibrous with just enough acidity and pack a nice fiery punch.
Verdict: GO Noodle House is more than just a hype and they have clearly captured the hearts of many people out there! Good food, reasonable price, a place that definitely warrant a second and even more visits!

I like the mi xian, the soup with hint of rice wine, and the chili sauce!
The waiting time for a seat might be abit long…but luckily the serving time is not too long.
Yes, the mi xian, very smooth right? I love it!
They have one in Sunway Velocity near me but I’ve not visited as I saw that their noodles are mostly soup based (which my family isn’t fond of). The only thing I can see them eating are those crispy stuff that looks good though! 😉
There is dry panmee too but it is not their signature lah and I’ve tried, not nice lor 😛
I often eat at the One-Utama outlet and it has always been packed with long queues.
Once I saw people queued at 10am for lunch! Their daily queue for dinner starts from 6.30pm till 9.00pm!! Crazy lah.
I always want to revisit but the queue really put me off >_<
Yeah, the queue at Go Noodle House is endless! I visit the one at Starling quiet often. I usually drop by at off peak hours where is it quiet. I love the bursting meatballs the most and the crispy stuff!
I always want to revisit but the queue really put me off >_< Do you know there is Go Rice House too? I eagerly want to try that!
I have been to the one at One Utama, twice, both times also need queue =_= But it was a weekend la!
Anyway I personally feel that the noddles is normal only… hehe!
I like the mi xian ler, very smooth and slurpilicious!
I love their三鲜汤头!
米线also another great things^-^
San Yi Ting,
