GTower Hotel @ Kuala Lumpur
Sam and I love hotel staycation and last month I’ve plan one for hubby’s birthday cum father’s day celebration. This time we staying right in the heart of the city at GTower Hotel Kuala Lumpur located at Jalan Tun Razak.
GTower Hotel Kuala Lumpur boasts 180 rooms is especially designed for corporate and business executives. The hotel has strong environment-friendly credentials due to its placement within Malaysia’s first internationally green-rated building GTower.
The reception counter located at Level 11, simple but sleek and chic designed.
Self-service welcome drink.
Our Executive Room is good sized, tastefully decorated in chic and contemporary theme. Nothing much on the view outside, just some boring offices. Please bear in mind that GTower Hotel is nestled amidst the office building, so expect to see many white collars in this building if you choose to stay here on weekdays. Hotel lobby is on the 11th floor, the rooms are 11-13th floor, the restaurant/bar/club floor is 28th / 29th, you have to use different lifts to get from 1-13 and 13-28.
The king sized bed is plush and comfortable. The room is fully carpeted too which is a plus point for me as I hate walking on the freezing tiled or wooden flooring.
Executive work desk with complimentary WiFi.
LCD Television with limited channels & iPod docking station.
Iron and board keep in a quite tricky place. LOL
The walk-in closet, indoor slippers, bathrobes and in-room safe.
Huge mirror great for selfie!
Equipped with both rainforest and hand shower. The marble bench in the cubicle is weird though.
Standard amenities like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hairdryer, toothbrush set and sewing kit were provided.
Checking out the swimming pool is a must! The infinity pool is situated at Level 11 which supposed to be a panoramic view which KLCC can be seen too I believe however the view now is totally obstructed by the new high rise building which is still under construction. Only adult pool available just like their tagline of ‘Designed for Business Travel’. #wrongdecisonmaking
Sam still enjoyed herself to the max nonetheless and we had a great bonding time leisured at the pool side.
Other hotel facilities are gym, SPA, foodhive that houses a few eateries such as Rakuzen, Subway and etc. There are also a few restaurants and bar which worth checking out, Tanzini Upperdeck, Tanzini and View Rooftop Bar.
Verdict: Great location indeed, walking distance to LRT station, KLCC and Avenue K. A nice stay but not memorable though. Apparently the hotel and the facilities were designed to cater for business people and I only found out that they do not have facilities for children under 12 years. I think I should do more research when seeking for staycation especially family with kid(s) like me.

She love stay at hotel, me as well lah, hehe ^__^
Toilet with LCD television. If staying alone probably is alright else it can be dangerous as one can enjoy the tv cum toilet time with peace of mind without realizing others.
Haha, quite an unique opinion also LOL
the room looks lovely! i’ve never stayed at gtower before, so it’s nice to see a peek inside the rooms 🙂
Hope you can have chance to stay there 🙂
Oh, no kids pool at all? That’s a shame. But yeah, maybe they cater for different market group.
Yalor, no kid pool 🙁 Wrong decision made ~>_<~
