Happy Mother’s Day Dinner @ Signature, The Roof

Mother’s Day falls on 10th May this year which just a few days away. Do you have any celebration plan for your dearest mom for this coming special day? There are definitely plenty of things to do with her and one of them would be to take her out for a lovely meal. How about a FREE meal? #nokidding

Signature by The Hill at The Roof, First Avenue is having a Mother’s Day Special where Chef Boone and Chef Desmond will tempt your queen of heart on this coming Mother’s Day with these two specially crafted brunch & dinner menu. Mothers eat for free on this special day with both menus. T&C applies.

I was truly impressed by the elegant interior of Signature on my first visit for their Sunday brunch. Came back to dine on evening and the place is transformed into a romantic space filled with dim yellow lights echoing the stunning night view outside the soaring high glass windows. The gorgeous vibe was further enhanced by the soft music played at the background.

Signature’s beverages menu is certainly extensive ranging from beers, wines, alcohol, cocktails, fruit juices and etc.

We had one of their house wine selection, the Altos Del Plata Malbec from Argentina. The red wine had a pleasant notes of berries with sharp finish.

Soup of The Day

We had this lovely pumpkin soup to kick started our dinner that evening. Paired with warm dinner bun, the vibrant orange-y broth had a perfect consistency, not too thick nor watery with natural sweetness from the root vegetables.

Giant Meatball ‘Bomb’ Linguine

The linguine was prepared in classic Roma tomato sauce and topped with shaved Parmesan, very appetizing infused with herbs and subtle hints of spiciness. Took the center stage was the giant meat ball ‘bomb’ made from well seasoned ground Australian rib eye stuffed with a whole egg.

Pollo Pesto

Our next pasta course was this Pollo Pesto featuring grilled chicken pasta dressed in aromatic basil pesto. The thick and creamy pesto was toothsome with decadent herbaceous and nutty flavors. The addition of sun dried tomatoes and shaved Parmesan gave the pasta more domension and completed the dish prettily.

Signature Wagyu Burger

We also had this alluring looking Signature Wagyu Beef Burger which sitting handsomely on wooden board accompanied with onion rings and corn on the cob.

It was a highly stacked ensembles consisted of Wagyu beef patty drizzled with truffle oil, topped with foie gras, smoked cheddar cheese, bed of crisp lettuce, sliced tomatoes and onion rings. Sandwiched with clack charcoal bun, this monstrous burger possessed a multitude of textures and flavors from all those ingredients.

The Wagyu beef patty was done medium with beautiful pinkish centre, retained the juiciness and the natural meaty flavor. The luxurious foie gras provided adequate creaminess to the overall texture.
