Hong Kong Trip Itinerary
It’s been 2 months since my Hong Kong trip & finally the itinerary is done. Thanks hubby for the effort in making this itinerary for me 😛
Prior preparation was ever important in ensuring there is no major hiccup since we decided to bring our 2 years old Sam with us. As for most of you, we scoured online for tips on family-friendly places etc. That’s what we have decided below:
- Tour Hong Kong in a bus i.e. the infamous The Big Bus Tour. We got a mighty good deal that allows us the flexibility to hop on and off any time during the tour. More information on our Big Bus Tour in future post.
- Our accommodation @ Metropark Hotel Kowloon. Again, more information in future post.
- Type of Octopus Card – the equivalent of our TouchnGo – for our daily commutes (beside the Big Bus Tour)
- Android apps on our smartphones such as Tripadvisor Hong Kong City Guide & Hong Kong Metro Map which were proven useful throughout our trip in search of local food and shopping areas.
- Unlimited Mobile Data Plan by using local prepaid SimCard at less than HKD$100 for the whole trip duration.
- Mode of transport from Airport to Hotel and vice versa.
You can view our itinerary below or our post on Random Photo on Hong Kong Trip 2012

This is GREAT! Very useful for families who wishes to go to HK and bring their little kiddoes around WITHOUT signing for a tour package!
Ya, that;s why I must share lor, hehe 😛
wow, love that steamed custard egg at Yee Shuen dairy company and yes, my favorite place of all is definitely the city gate outlet, too cheap to be true 😛
City Gate, shopping paradise!
Wait for your details..I will go on September. Hope to know more about the transport
What info you need? Maybe I can share with u?\…
I want to know about the Big Bus but saw your post. Will go thru it first HAHA. I will go to Macau and stay for 1 night. Later will transfer to HK the next day. Just think if I take ferry to Tsim Tsa Chui port, will it be a headage to get any transport to my hotel. I am staying at Metro Park Mongkok
