Klasik Satay Station
Satay Klasik Station, voted as the “No. 1 Satay in Klang Valley” by Malaysia Food and Travel Bloggers, let’s see how true is it!
Occupied a bungalow lot hidden at residential area of Kepong Indah (near FRIM) with both air-conditioned indoor and al-fresco seats.
The grilling stations at the back of the restaurant where the satay grilling actions are visible if you sit at outdoor.
Ordinary Satay VS Magnificent Satay
Ordinary Meat VS Premium Meat – Only premium meat is used at Klasik Satay Station!
Chicken Satay (RM 0.70 / stick)
Initially want to order some lamb satay but they sold out T-T
The chicken skewers were meaty and moist and not much fat detected but the burnt part make us scowling >.< As for the taste, the meat was well infused with marinade of various spices but still it was not on a stellar level; I’ve try a better one at other place.
A separate bowl of peanut sauce and sambal are given. The peanut sauce was chunky with plenty of crushed peanuts but slightly watery and not flavorful enough for me. Add in the sambal definitely a must for that extra punchy kick!
Satay aside, there are noodles and nasi lemak are available here too.
Verdict: Maybe they are one of the best satay in Kepong area but definitely not the BEST in my book. I will go back to try out the mutton and beef satay which have quite some good comments on it.

Lamb satay – I think I’ve only had beef and chicken. Bet it goes nicely with the peanut sauce.
u have to try lamb satay if got chance~
OO the operate from a bungalow? Hope they wont be curse by the neighbours for the smoke.
I like the look of the peanut sauce. The more peanuts the tastier
I like chunky peanut sauce too~
The peanut sauce really looks quite watery hoh. And not red enough…I like it red red..that means more chili =)
add more sambal then can become very red lol
Do share where’s the best place to have satay. Haji Samuri has been disappointing. 🙁
I had satay at Uma Rani restaurant at Batu 4, Jalan Ipoh, which is definitely better than Haji Samuri!
Wah best satay in Klang Valley???
I like more fat part on the meat! 😀
more fat more moister right?
wan want
go have yourself!
they only sell satay? i wonder how premium does the ‘premium meat’ taste. but anyway RM0.70 is quite cheap for a restaurant. because i have tried those at the roadside stall charging RM0.90 each!
Latest: BBQ with Wine
I can’t differentiate the taste of premium & normal meat >.<
