Klasik Satay Station

Satay Klasik Station, voted as the “No. 1 Satay in Klang Valley” by Malaysia Food and Travel Bloggers, let’s see how true is it!

Occupied a bungalow lot hidden at residential area of Kepong Indah (near FRIM) with both air-conditioned indoor and al-fresco seats.

The grilling stations at the back of the restaurant where the satay grilling actions are visible if you sit at outdoor.

Ordinary Satay VS Magnificent Satay

Ordinary Meat VS Premium Meat – Only premium meat is used at Klasik Satay Station!

Chicken Satay (RM 0.70 / stick)

Initially want to order some lamb satay but they sold out T-T

The chicken skewers were meaty and moist and not much fat detected but the burnt part make us scowling >.< As for the taste, the meat was well infused with marinade of various spices but still it was not on a stellar level; I’ve try a better one at other place.

A separate bowl of peanut sauce and sambal are given. The peanut sauce was chunky with plenty of crushed peanuts but slightly watery and not flavorful enough for me. Add in the sambal definitely a must for that extra punchy kick!

Satay aside, there are noodles and nasi lemak are available here too.

Verdict: Maybe they are one of the best satay in Kepong area but definitely not the BEST in my book. I will go back to try out the mutton and beef satay which have quite some good comments on it.
