Melbourne Trip 2019 ~ Random Photos
My Melbourne 2019 trip travelogue is officially completed after this post! *throw confetti
Warning: Lengthy post ahead with plenty of photos!
Below are the photos that haven’t appeared in all my previous Melbourne trip posts and hope you enjoy seeing these photos.
Melbourne, regularly listed among the world’s greatest cities in which to live although the weather isn’t always promising (imagine four seasons in one day =.=”). But there are definitely reasons why Melbourne is considered such a great place to live. As the capital of Victoria and the second largest city in the country, Melbourne is a booming metropolis that showcases the best of Australian arts, culture, cuisine and landscapes.
The city’s street art scene is one of the most vibrant and important in the world. Taking a stroll down the famous Hosier Lane, you will find street art that reaches to the top of buildings and all the way down to the cobblestone floors.
If you’re a coffee-lover, Melbourne certainly a city for you! Home to thousands of cafés and some of the world’s best baristas, you’ll never be far away from a sophisticated cup of single origin coffee. Sit and savour a cup in one of Market Lane Coffee or Brother Baba Budan and see what all the fuss is about.
Flinders Street Station – with glorious domed roof and canary-yellow paint job.
Federation Square – a popular gathering spot and a venue for arts, culture and public events with major cultural institutions such as the Ian Potter Centre, Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) and the Koorie Heritage Trust.
State Library of Victoria – Despite as a great place to browse or check out an exhibition, this library also one of the most Instagrammable places in Melbourne with its octagonal shape reading room, tall white walls, evenly spaced arches and geometrically spaced reading tables.
Random street photos.

Love the street art installations.
The penguin egg looks really adorable and intriguing. 😀
Tekkaus, those street arts are absolutely stunning and I can spend time take photos of each of them!
That penguin egg, a bit shocked when we saw the penguin, LOL *ugly
Wah! You guys had a great time, eh? Your mum even had a pigeon land on her head! I was very drawn to all the food and ice cream hee..hee…
PH, wonderful moment!
Throw confetti indeed….after all the work writing close to 20 posts on your Melbourne trip. Thanks for all the photos…and glad you and your family had a great time. I was attracted to all the beautifully cooked (freestyle) poached eggs! 😉 P/S: That’s one scary-looking baby penguin. >_<
Kris, slowly but surely, my philosophy of writing a travelogue, haha!
Actually that penguin shrunk into a “cuter” look which I forgot to take photo of it, LOL
looks like an amazing family trip! hopefully next year you can plan your next wonderful family adventure 🙂
Sean, it is indeed a wonderful and memorably trip~~ Next year, dare not to expect anything considering the current situation 🙁
Now it’s strange to see people without masks, also, what’s with the banana having color tips?
