Mother’s Day Special @ Eastin Hotel Kuala Lumpur

The word ‘Mother’ is always tinged with emotional meaning. Each of us has many stories about her, be positive or negative. However, there’s no doubt that we recognize the sacrifices our mothers had endured from that time we are in their womb.

As a foodie, I’ll favour a celebration of Mother’s Day with sumptuous food rather than the usual flowers, presents and cards. At Eastin Hotel Kuala Lumpur, it gets even better when good spread of delicious food paired up with fun filled activities.

I was at Swez Brasserie, Eastin Hotel Kuala Lumpur for an extraordinary Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet. Why I said it was ‘extraordinary’? Because the diners not only can savour wide selection of delicious food but also can participate in activities arranged by the hotel and win attractive gifts.

Eastin Hotel Kuala Lumpur’s buffet spread never cease to please as they are always beautifully presented with wide selection of food which featuring both local and international cuisines. Let the photo do the talking, shall we?

If western brunch/breakfast not your choice, how about a pipping hot Chinese style porridge with various of condiments. This is my must have for breakfast buffet, I like my greedily topping with ALL condiments. 😛

 

Chawanmushi was perfectly done, the velvety smooth and wobbly egg custard won my heart.

Sweets are simply a must have and there are plenty of sweet treats to keep everyone happy.

From the popular chocolate fondue to international desserts and local kuih muih. Diners can enjoy all these with a cup of hot tea or coffee for a delightful ending. I personally love the durian mille crepe and the Japanese cheese cake, the former definitely was a bomb with aromatic durian infused cream layer while the latter was light and fluffy.

 

The popcorn cart definitely got the kids pretty excited!

This year Eastin Hotel Kuala Lumpur had organized a cake decoration contest and I’m one of the contestant.  Although I didn’t get any prize but the experience working with my girl is priceless. (Sam is my little assistant in the contest)

 

Here’s our “masterpiece”. Many misunderstood they are snakes but they actually caterpillar mother and daughter ~>_<~

Other entertaining games such as “Egg Peeling Competition”, ” Candy Crush” & “Sumo Wrestling” were arranged for both the parents and kids.
