Nadeje @ 3 Two Square, Petaling Jaya
The famous mille crepre brand from Malacca, Nadeje is now open their latest branch at 3 Two Square, Section 19 Petaling Jaya. No more 2 hours drive to Malacca when the sweet craving attack you! (Another alternative perhaps?)
Nadeje ~ Established since 2006, Nadeje prides itself on its quality fresh ingredients and finest handmade Mille Crepe.
The cafe adopted a simple and bright layout with very limited tables (4-5 tables) at both indoor and outdoor.
A comfy waiting area for take-away customer.
Outdoor seats spreading at the corridor, I personally not recommend this because it is facing/near the car park area * I don’t want my food cover with dust (>_<) *
Customers are queuing to choose their cakes from the glass display cabinet . *I had hard time, tempting to try every flavors if possible 😛 *
You will be given a waiting number upon ordering and please wait for your number to be called, just like the queuing system in banks.
Malacca Mille Crepe (RM 9.50)
I’m a Gula Melaka aficionado, give me any food with Gula Melaka I’m the happiest girl in the world, I kid you not! Named Malacca Mille Crepe, this is a Gula Melaka flavored mille crepre.
The Gula Melaka taste was quite mild for me but I enjoyed immensely the melt-in-your-mouth sensation of the smooth velvety cream and the crepes nonetheless. It was not too sweet too with hint of smoky taste from the Gula Melaka. (PS: I have quite high tolerance towards sweetness, some may found it too sweet according to some reviews.)
Other flavors: Original, Royal Milk Tea, Cafe Mocha, Praline Lover, Berry Berry Strawberry, Banana Chocolate, Rum & Raisi, Tiramisu, Double Chocolate and etc.
Mille crêpe is a French cake made of many crêpe layers. The word mille means “a thousand”, implying the many layers of crêpe. Not exactly a thousand layers but the preparation of this this dessert definitely need patient and skill.

Some interesting cafe latte was spotted here such Rum cafe latte, banana cafe latte and strawberry cafe latte, for those who adventurous enough 😛

I love their Rum & Raisins mille crepe. Have yet to visit them but I guess it will be crowded during peak hours and weekends since they just had the voucher thingy at group buying site.
I initially want to choose Rum & Raisins but when I know there is Gula Melaka flavor, I can’t help but choose that 😛

Looks good but not very choosy when it comes to Mille crepe, won’t mind trying it if got the chance, but probably won’t go all the way to eat it.

hopefully there won’t be any long queue in Malacca’s outlet seeing people in KL can has them now.
when are they opening a branch in Penang? so that i don’t have to travel 7 hours to have a slice!
