O banh mi @ Damansara Uptown
She & she raved about O banh mi after their first visit and insisted that I must pay this banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich) shop a visit!
What a pleasant sight! Freshly baked baguettes in golden brown emitted a lovely aroma ~~
Their baguettes are baked freshly everyday with reload schedule of 8.00am, 12.30pm, 1.00pm & 6.00pm, so make sure you come on correct timing to get the freshest bread!
The preparation counter is located right beside the dining area where diners can watch how’s their banh mi is prepared.
This is what you will get 🙂 Read more about banh mi HERE.
The menu was quite limited with a few selections of banh mi, spring roll, stew and some beverages.
O.M.G + Iced Lemon Tea + Spring Roll (RM 15.70)
Oh, I love this! From the bread to the fillings!
All the ingredients such as pate, pâté, homemade mayonnaise, sunny side-up egg, lemongrass chicken, hams, pickled radish & carrots, chili and cilantro sandwiched between the baguette with crispy outer crust with fluffy and pillowy insides. One big bite and let all the ingredients with different textures and flavors blend harmonically in your mouth.
O BBQ + Iced Lemon Tea (RM 10.70)
Consisted of BBQ pork, sunny side-up egg, home-made mayonaise, pickled carrots & daikon and Vietnamese chilli sauce. I adored the pickled vegetables the most in the ensemble, refreshing yet crunchy with perfect hints of sweet and sour note.
O Susu (RM 3.50)
Freshly baked baguette dipped into sweetened condensed milk. Just simply enjoy the original texture of the bread, definitely on a stellar level, thumbs up for them!
Vietnamese Ice Lemon Tea
Came with the set, the Vietnamese Fried Spring Roll comprised minced pork, mushroom, shredded carrots, mung bean noodles wrapped in rice paper then fried.
The interior.
O banh mi definitely got approval from both foodie in the family!
Verdict: A revisit seem like a must! Affordable and value of money considering the amount of hearty fillings in each sandwiches.

One thing I don’t like about banh mi though is the hard and chewy crust! so mafan to eat!
The crust is not too hard, just nice and crispy for me!
