Outback Steakhouse @ BB Park, Plaza Low Yat
Hubby is a gadget person, Plaza Low Yat, Bukit Bintang definitely one of his favourite mall. *rolling eyes & yawn* I have no problem with Plaza Low Yat *rolling eyes AGAIN* but dining at Plaza Low Yat/Sungai Wang area can be quite challenging as there is not many options at surrounding area considering we don’t want to drive to Pavilion which has more eateries. (refer my previous dinner in Plaza Low Yat HERE).
We was here again and this time hubby decided to splurge a bit to treat me nice meal at Outback Steakhouse located at BB Park, diagonally Plaza Low Yat.
Outback Steakhouse, an Australian themed steakhouse was established in Tampa, Florida in 1988, spanning across 23 countries in America, Europe, Asia, Australia and Middle East. The aetting of this outlet at BB Park, Bukit Bintang somehow gave me a very “Wild Wild West” cowboy feel.
The waiting area
The dark wood furniture, wooden flooring and some wild animals and scenery paintings adorning the place.
Al fresco dining section
Iced Lemon Tea (RM 7.95++)
Outback Special (RM 47.95++)
Prided themselves in serving excellent steaks, sure I didn’t miss the chance to sample one of their signature steaks ~ the Outback Special which is a 8oz sirloin seasoned with spiced and seared over the red hot grill.
My medium well steak (all steaks cooked to order) was nicely prepared, seasoning was minimal and forefronts the bold beefy flavors.
The side mashed potato was equally lip-smacking too. I love not so finely mashed texture and the chunky potato bites hiding within.
Add on soup of the day (RM 7.95++)
An add on order for any mains ordered. The chef must be heavy handed when it comes to salt, our carrot soup that day was really salty 🙁
Chicken on the Barbie (RM 27.95)
The chicken breast with beautiful grilled marks was amazingly not dry or bland like I would expected to be. It was tender with delicate marinade which made the chicken breast not boring at all! Also served along were some fresh seasonal vegetables and pilaf rice.
Check out their operating hour!
That photo of lavender farm hanging on the wall was gorgeous!Nice touch to the place.
so blur you also can see, good eyesight!
Chicken on the Barbie? cute name… :-p
Haha, yalor…I wonder what does it means 😛
I also amused with the name “Chicken on the Barbie” and quickly look whether any Barbie doll use for decoration. Hahaha..Althought I’m not a gadget freak, but everytime I go KL, I will visit Low Yat Plaza too to look for cheap camera especially.
Sabah don’t have such gadget mall?
oh, ya, i also don’t really eat often in the low yat area. the chicken does look good! 🙂
Haha, not really remember have you blog about any restaurant at that area?
The sirloin steak for that outback special looks small?
Size was remarkably small but luckily it was thick 😛
Have been there once. Not bad
🙂
oh, Outback!! have been there couple of times, but how come you didn’t order their famous Blooming Onions??
Never heard about this famous blooming onions. Fried stuff? I always scare those fried unions will turn out to be very oily =.=”
