PD Ostrich Show Farm
It’s Friday!!! Anyone planning to have a weekend getaway? Let me give you some idea 🙂
Do you like animals? Like this?
Meah Meah~~
If your answer is “YES“, PD Ostrich Show Farm @ Port Dickson is the place.
Located 1.5 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur or on the 9th mile of Port Dickson coastal road. Besides the infamous beaches, this is another main attraction at Port Dickson too.
Entrance fee for adult: RM 8.00
Entrance fee for kid: RM 6.00
Let’s see what we saw, touched & “smelled” in this farm 🙂
What greeted us once we enter the farm were these active goatS. We saw them run & jumped to get food from one of the visitor who trying to feed them ~.~
Very aggressive ostrich trying to get food from us @.@
Pity looking bald bottom ostrich, what happen to them?!!
Hubby was feeding the ostrich with animal feed that we bought at RM 2.00 at entrance. Ostrich has a quite hard beak, so please be careful when you try to feed them with your palm.
PS: Keep the empty animal feed container to redeem a small souvenir at the souvenir shop.
O.. o.. o.. o……. Call me Tarzan!!!
Chicken wearing lace clothing, nice~
Sam was so excited when she saw CHICKEN!!!
Pets playground showcased some ducks, geese, chickens & rabbits.
Sam trying to poke the rabbit, hehe ^^
Guess what is these?
New born baby rabbit!!! 3 days old~
Tongkat Ali can be seen too, our Malaysia’s home-grown Viagra \(*.*)/
Big & thick ostrich egg shell. Please ignore my silly face 😛
Of course Sam was excited too!
Standing on the ostrich egg, it was hard enough to support a fat aunty like me 😛
Other than the above mentioned activity, there are also ostrich riding (with charges of course) too if you dare to do it >.<
Not only we saw them, learnt about them, fed them, we also EAT them. Sound cruel huh…. but being one of the healthier meat with low fat, definitely I want to try it!
Although it is healthier BUT…….. it wasn’t nice 🙁 The meat was tough & dry with gamey taste. Not really recommended & try at your own risk 😛
The visit seem like short but we had fun here. Quite a nice place to visit especially family with children.
