Restoran Ten Noodle @ Kota Damansara
Are you a fan of pork noodles? Be it pork noodles with all sort of pork innard or the pork ball noodles, Sam Gan Chong. I like both.
The former features minced meat, pork balls, sliced pork, liver and intestines swimming in a pork soup base while the latter comes with aromatic Siew Cheong, springy rectangular pork balls and minced meat topping.
I came across Restoran Ten Noodle when I was blog hopping and immediately marked down the address as the review seem really promising.
The restaurant was packed to the brim for both our visit and we even needed to wait for a while for table during our first visit. The setting is simple and fuss-free. It’s a open space filled with basic tables and chairs, slightly too cramped for my comfort and the environment can be quite stuffy if the weather is too hot (no air-cod). (︶︹︺)
Ordering is easy – you will be given an order chit and you just need to choose your choice of noodles, serving types and portion (dry or soup, big or small or takeaway), ingredients (all in or no pork innard or customize your ingredients) and lastly the extra add-on if you want.
Iced Tea (RM2.50), Lime Plum (RM4.50) & Iced Chinese Tea (RM0.70)
Dry Lou Shu Fun with no innard (Small – RM7.50)
Since we don’t eat innard, our orders were omitted the innard.
I was really impressed with the serving once it was served on our table. As you can see, those minced meat patties, meat balls (both round and rectangular type) and pork slices were generously filled the soup bowl which is certainly a delightful sight. I also like the sweet and savoury pork broth full with porky goodness without being too heavy on the palate.
Noodles with add-on egg (RM1.20)
My favourite combination of curly noodles (Maggi as shown in the menu) in soup with add-on bittergourd slices (RM1.50). The portion of bittergourd was very generous as well, this was what I got on my first visit and I got much more on my second visit where my bowl was fully covered by the bittergourd! (^ω^)
Verdict: Recommend this place if you like pork noodles. Wallet friendly and tasty food, I can’t find any reason not to revisit. 。^‿^。
Restoran Ten Noodles
Wah! Wah! I like what I see! The portions and ingredients seem generous. Must make a point to visit one day.
PH, definitely more affordable than the one you had at Starling food court LOL
I love to eat Pork Noodles very much!
TM, this is the place for you!
I love both pork and sam gan chong noodles. When I looked at your bowl of pork noodles, it reminded me of the pork noodles I had recently at another place. So I googled this place and came across a review that said that this is a branch of the very popular Mama Love pork noodles in Cheras. If indeed it is, then it’s surely a good value and tasty pork noodles.
Kris, I’ve heard of Mama Love @ Cheras and many good review about it but Cheras is a bit far for me so I never visit. Glad that I can get good pork noodles nearer to me 🙂
looks like ten noodles scores almost a perfect ten! 😀
Sean, almost, I would say ^__^
Did you see me there among the crowd? LoL. I am there very often. Minimum once a week and can go up to many days a week also. The workers there all know us dy and what we usually order oso 😀
