Ristretto Cafe
Hmm….Peruvian cuisine, does it sound interesting to you and do you know there is a cafe serve Peruvian cuisine? Ristretto Cafe, located at the more quieter side of Mont Kiara, it’s Mont Kiara 10 to be precise , surrounded by high-rise condominiums.
The cafe is small with floor-to-ceiling glass window glass panel allowing natural light to shine gently.
Most of the tables occupied the lobby of the condominium(?) as the seats in the cafe itself is quite limited.
Iced Water (FOC)
Long Black (RM 5.00)
Heard that they serve good coffee so hubby order a simple long black to test on how true is it. The black beauty was smooth with very mild bitter aftertaste, it’s acceptable easily even for a non-coffee lover like myself 🙂 Not to mention the affordable price too!
Darjeeling Tea
Arroz Con Pollo(RM 25.00)
Coriander infused fried rice served with chicken chop and plenty of raw onions. Portion was sizable and the rice was fluffy and quite fragrant where the herbs was nicely infused in it. But the chicken chop was a let down, dry and tough 🙁
Carbonara with Chicken (RM 16.00)
The pasta was well flavored and every strand was evenly coated with creamy sauce but the thick sauce can be quite cloying if you finish this by yourself >.<
Admiring the view of the pretty constructed building if one choose to dine outside at the al-fresco area of the cafe.
Verdict: While the food was not memorably , Ristretto Cafe is a great place to chill out with a cuppa or two.
