The Divan & Eyuzu Japanese Cuisine @ Eastin Hotel Petaling Jaya

After checked in to my magnificent room I managed to take a short nap before proceeded to Eyuzu for the dinner. But beforehand we were brought to The Divan located right beside Eyuzu for some mojitos and canapes.

The Divan, with plush furnishing and fittings, island-bar and walk in humidor brings in the influence of old Cuban with a smattering of Spanish. Complementing the cigars are an exquisite collection of wines, liquors, non-alcoholic beverages and delectable snacks. This would be the good place for cigar and wine aficionados!

The mouth-watering canapes and mojitos.

Why you are here my cute little swan? ~~

A group of us were ushered to the Eyuzu for the anticipated Shumatsu Buffet prepared by the award-winning Japanese Executive Chef Ricky Hui.

Eyuzu Japanese Cuisine seats 130 persons with its gorgeous mini Japanese garden for a view.

The al-fresco dining also available here accompanied by the a few”food stalls” of tempura, mini hotpot and BBQ.

We were welcomed graciously by the staff in elegant traditional kimono at the entrance and brought us the one of the private room in the restaurant. The private room was tastefully decorated with Japanese ornaments and what impressed me the most was the table setting!

Mind to dine with teeny-weeny fish? 😛

With more than 150 mouth-watering dishes to choose from, we were definitely be spoilt for choice. Let’s the photo do the talking here, a kind reminder to my dear readers who can’t resist Japanese food, please prepare a bib or scroll down at your risk.  lol

Cold appetizers of Japanese delicacies like Beancurd with Soya Dashi Sauce, Potato Salad, Marinated Hotate, Endamame, Marinated Baby Octopus, and Japanese Seaweed and to awake your appetite. (Clockwise from left)

Fresh sashimi and sushi.

The shashimi bowl arrived on our table in an aesthetically manner!

Consisted salmon, tuna,  snapper, prawn and clam, they were unquestionably fresh and succulent, definitely on the top notch quality!

Deep Fried Prawn Head

Might look unpretentious but the flavor and texture were totally outdoes the look!

Teppanyaki Oyster and Cheese Baked Oyster

I prefer the later where the oyster was topped with luscious melted cheese, a good alternative to enjoy oyster if you not fancy the raw one just like me ~.~

Assorted Maki Sushi.

An array of hot dishes like Age Tofu, Grilled Chicken Wings, Chicken Teppanyaki, Yasai Itame Teriyaki and Grilled Unagi. (Clockwise from left)

Silky smooth chawan mushi which is literally melted in your mouth, definitely passed with flying colours!

Coils of colourful soba and udon displayed beautifully.

DIY counter and the condiments for cold or hot soba/udon.

Cup of hot green tea soba prettified with chopped spring onions by Xiang.

Teppanyaki was prepared lively by the chef upon ordering, I love my food served pipping hot, don’t you?

A nice selection of beef, chicke, seafood and vegetables for your Teppanyaki.

Dobin Mushi, traditional Japanese seafood broth  served in cute ceramic teapot was light in flavor and showcase the sweet seafood throughly. A squeeze of lime to jazzed up the overall taste.

Yakitori station at the outdoor of the restaurant.

Teppanyaki meat & seafood, Teppanyaki slipper lobster, Tempura and Katsu (Clockwise from left)

Skewers exuded enticing smoky aroma that make me drooling over.

Fresh fruit to help a little on the digestion  😛

The desserts spread was located right in front of the restaurant and I had been intrigued since I stepped in, tell me how can I skip this although I’m already full to the brim!

Cakes, puddings and mochi.

Pancakes with assorted spreads.

Boiling mochi.

Warm mochi with black sesame filling (yay! my favorite!) coated with crushed peanuts. Gooey, sweet and savory, it’s superb!

Scoops of ice-cream – Pistachio and Vanilla flavor.

Green Tea ice cream and azuki beans ~ perfect match in heaven!
