The Good Batch @ Damansara Uptown
Seeking for good brunch place just like my diet plan —> never ending but wait a moment! These two matters seem like not compatible at all! *Palm forehead!* Well, the mission still continue, shall we? LOL (Read the whole breakfast series HERE)
The Good Batch at Damansara uptown definitely one of the popular spot when people mention about breakfast/brunch, all day breakfast to be exact!
Arrived at a non-peak hour circa 2.00pm+, this place was still packed with patrons and we had to wait for merely minutes for table. Oh ya, they are kind enough to prepare a waiting area completed with wooden benches and magazines outside the restaurant 🙂
Dark ceiling, cemented floor, wood tables, a long communal table with bar stools, light bulbs lighting, small plants and ornaments adorning the place. Ample of light floods in to illuminate the cafe, this also means it can get very hot in the afternoon ~.~
Bar counter seats if you fancy some barista’s action.
Iced Latte (RM 10.00+)
A bit too milky for hubby’s liking 🙁
Pineapple Juice (RM 7.00+)
Portobello Road (RM 19.90+)
The highly stacked ensemble was a perfectly done poached egg, crispy breaded portobello mushroom, roasted tomato and blanched spinach on a bun. Hubby’s truly enjoyed the crispy portobello mushroom with juicy inner and the level scrumptiousness definitely can be heighten by a prick to the egg and let the egg yolk slowly moisten the layers. Oh boy, I was drooling by just imagine this~~
Parisiene (RM20.90+)
My choice of Parisiene was equally good. The enormous portion consisted of French toast, turkey ham, Gruyère & parmesan cheese, homemade béchamel sauce then topped with two pretty sunny-side-up. The sweet & fluffy French toasts paired well with the savory ham and sauces but portion was a little surfeit for one to finish and can be quite cloying towards the end 😛
Verdict: Food was generally satisfied however the coffee was nothing to shout about (I’m not coming for the coffee anyway :P), revisit seem like predictable~

I been there once, the place quite nice with a lot of natural light, and the staff quite friendly too.
Yeah, lighting is important element to get good photo hor 😛
My favourite here is the Parisiene! Toasts were fluffy and moist hence extremely yummy!
I’ll try others for my next visit, the Parisiene too much roti 😛

great brunch place! always wanted to try but it’s quite a distance away. that’s why haven’t give a go.
Yalor, distance really a main factor that stop us to explore that particular place, eg I seldom venture into Cheras area 😛
