Weekend Hi-Tea Buffet @ Swez Brasserie, Eastin Hotel Petaling Jaya
It’s been a while since my last had Hi-Tea buffet because I’m quite bored of the same old selection until recently I was invited to sample the newly revamped weekend Hi-Tea menu of Swez Brasserie at Eastin Hotel Petaling Jaya. Available every Saturday and Sunday from 12.00pm until 4.30pm, Swez Brasserie offers over 50 varieties of local and Western favourites themed “Street Bazaar and Malaysian Heritage Specials.”
The buffet spread features a rotation of street bazaar selections on Saturdays and Malaysian heritage selections on Sunday. Patrons get to enjoy an array of international street bazaar food and local delights from all states in Malaysia under one roof!
Let’s have a peek what they are offering!
Nasi Lemak Kukus, one of Malaysian’s favourite food.
Nasi Briyani
Ayam Goreng Berempah (Spiced Fried Chicken)
Beef Rendang
Salmon Fish Head Curry
Thick, cream and the fragrance of the coconut milk and variety spices was apparent. One of the can’t miss item among the buffet spread.
Kambing Rendang
Vegetables in Sambal
Beef Satay
Chicken Satay
Chicken Tandoori
Naan Bread
Beef & Chicken Kebab
Thai Selection: Chicken in Pandan Leaves
Assorted fritters
Sukiyaki Vegetables, laden bountifully with various mushrooms, greens, tofu and mung bean noodles submerged in a slightly sweetish broth.
There are also a good selections of Western delight too.
Frittata (Egg-based crustless quiche filled with vegetables)
Grilled Sea Bass
Traditional Seafood Pie
Don’t judge by its unpretentious look, this was awesomely delicious! Hiding underneath the crispy puff pasty was creamy concoction of seafood such as fish fillet, squid and prawn. This definitely was a hit among all of us.
Starters and salads
From Chinese cuisines section.
Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet
Porridge with assorted condiments, a truly comfort food for me 🙂
Last but no least, the inviting dessert corner.
Wide variety from the crowd pleaser chocolate fountain to various cakes, pastry and Nyonya kuih.
And the special made fried ice cream!
Also not to leave out too is the action stations where chefs prepare “live cooking” that allow patrons to have a holistic experience where all the 5 senses are aroused while enjoying their meal.
Look, the kids was so energetic after the sumptuous buffet.

Lovely dishes, i’d probably wallop the meat and satay but no thanks for nasi lemak and porridge LOL
Why you don’t like porridge & nasi lemak?
