Yen Can Cook ~ 3 Ingredients Mac and Cheese
Sam is a big fan of Mac and Cheese. I always wanted to prepare it at home for her but most of the recipes call for flour as one of the ingredients which I’m not really fond of until I saw this version that I’m going to share today. Only 3 simple ingredients are required, without using any flour, but still perfectly rich and creamy and it’s sure to be loved by people of all ages! This dish is easy enough for weekday dinners and it’s really sound like a perfect Mac and Cheese recipe for me, simple and easy, my philosophy!
If you like a little more substance, additional ingredients can be added into your Mac and Cheese like ham, peas, red peppers, sausages, mushrooms and caramelized onion. You may topped with breadcrumbs or Panko and bake it, you’ll get Baked Mac and Cheese.
Ingredients (Serve 3-4)
1.25ml full cream milk
200g shaved cheddar cheese
Step 1: Rinse the macaroni. In a pot or deep skillet, pour in milk and macaroni, cook according to package directions until al dente.
Step 2: Off the heat then add in the cheddar cheese. Mix well until all the cheeses has melted.
Step 3: Sprinkle cheese on top and serve.
