Yen Can Cook ~ Butter Garlic Eryngii Mushroom (Vegetarian)
A simple way to cook Eryngii Mushroom with just 2 ingredients but the dish is sufficiently bold in flavour!
Ingredients (Serve:3-4)
6 King Eryngii Mushroom
50g unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soy sauce
A dash of black pepper
Cooking oil
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 1: Slice the mushroom diagonally/into small round section, score the mushroom slices on one side.
Step 2: In a pan over medium heat, add butter and a few drops of cooking oil (to prevent butter from burning). Add in salt as well.
Step 3: Put in mushroom slices and pan fry them until both sides turn brown and soften.
Step 4: Add in minced garlic, saute till fragrant and followed by add in soy sauce. Stir fry to combine well and lastly add a dash of black pepper.
Step 5: Serve.

These mushrooms are very meaty and delicious. This recipe makes for a very good side dish. The butter would add more flavor and richness!
