Today I’m going to share with you guys a soup recipe which can ‘kill three birds with one stone’. Tomato fish soup, you can have combination of fish + soup + vegetable in one dish , isn’t it sound great?
Ingredients (Serve: 2-3)
1 fish (I used Tilapia fish or can can be substituted with any other appropriate fishes)
1/4 Chinese cabbage (黄芽白/大白菜), cut into small slices
5 slices ginger
Handful of spring onion
Salt and pepper to taste
Step 1: Clean the fish, wipe the fish with paper towels or a cloth to remove excess water.
Step 2: Heat oil in a pan, put the ginger fry for 20 seconds and add in the fish and fry both side till slightly browned.
Step 3: Transfer the ginger and fish into a pot. Add water, Chinese cabbage & tomato then bring to boil. Lower the heat and simmer the ingredients for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked & the vegetables are soften.
Step 4: Sprinkle with chopped spring onion and serve.
