Yummy Taiwan

Recently one of my foodie friend, Chasing Food Dreams introduced me a newly open Taiwanese restaurant which nestled at a brand new mall ~ Fahrenheit 88. This really came in right timing for me as a warm up to experience the real authentic Taiwan food at TAIWAN (Ya, I’m going to Taiwan this coming October!!!! \(*o*)/ *excited* )

Located at a quiet end of 2nd floor that many people will probably missed.

Very bright & neat setting. White furniture with red colour contrast wall.

Menu in striking yellow!!

Bubble Milk Tea with Pearls
Yummy Taiwan version got approval from our milk tea expert πŸ˜› From his milk tea drinking experience, the black tea is made from true tea leaves & not the powder type, sound expert huh ^^
Right concoction of milk & tea, silky smooth~

Orange Ice Blended

Mango Ice Blended
Both are thirst quencher, very cooling indeed.

Hot Apple Black Tea
I can smell the aroma of apple emitted even from far. Very soothing & can warm your tummy especially in recently rainy season.

Beef Noodle Set

Come with appetizer, salted vegetable & special chili sauce. Taiwan version of beef noodle is quite different with what we usually have (beef noodle in clear soup). The beef was braised until soft & the soup has quite a strong spices flavors with hint of sourness. I had similar beef noodle at Hing Loong too.

Oyster Mee Sua Set
Served same sides with the above beef noodle set with additional braised beancurd. Love the fresh plump oyster & the intestine without any weird taste. A truly comfort food for me *Thumb up*

Another popular Taiwan street food. Mee Sua in thick broth served with oyster & braised intestine.

Mushroom Meat with Spinach Noodle Soup
Another noodle with thick broth. It shows that Taiwanese really like starchy food πŸ˜›
Homemade spinach noodle was used but it’s soggy as it’s been soaking too long time in the broth >.<
Luckily the springy meat balls is the saves the day for this noodle.

Ru Rou Fan
Another renowned staple food of Taiwanese. White rice topped with braised diced pork. Not the best I would say, I’ve taste a better version where the pork was more tender.

Taiwan Burger
Also known as “Gua Bao” literally mean “cut bun”. A tender braised pork belly, pickled vegetable, coriander leaves sandwiched between a soft fluffy bun. The additional of crushed peanut added a crunchy texture to it. My favorite among all the food.

Steam Pork Dumpling
Encasing with flavorful minced pork and chives with a bit savory broth. The only gripe was the skin was slightly too thick.

Hot Crispy Chicken
How can we miss the this when we dine in a Taiwanese restaurant? Crunchy thin batter with succulent flatten chicken meat. Sprinkled with some pepper & chili powder for extra kick!

Organic Sweet Potato Fries
A very addictive snack. The plum powder sprinkled on top really brought out the natural sweetness of the sweet potato.

Taro Balls Dessert
Last but no least, the Taro Balls! Always my favorite dessert with refreshing grass jelly &chewy taro & yam balls. On par with Snowflake version o… πŸ™‚ *Another alternative if you are craving about it since they really have good business now a.k.a LONG QUEUE*
