>Anson Food Company
>I always feel that I’m blessed. I can enjoy hearty home cook food by my mom everyday since I was born even until now I’m married & have my own family. For those who misses home cook food, let me introduce a place for you to cure your home sick whenever you longing for mom’s cooking ~ Anson Food Company.
Although I’m not from Anson (Teluk Intan) but the dishes that I tried that day were so familiar for me, just like what my mom used to prepare for us everyday! With lots of passion & LOVE!
Simple setting with beautiful murals~
Mint, Ginger & Honey Cooler (RM 6.00)
Aromatic Crispy Duck (RM 25.00)
Resemble Peking Duck, the duck was braised , shredded then deep fried.
Special Sauce for Aromatic Crispy Duck
Not the ordinary sweet sauce that we usually get but add in chef’s secret recipe, a magic to create a burst of flavors!
Put the shredded duck meat, spring onion, cucumber & special sauce on the home made popiah skin the wrap it like a “popiah”.
Thanks Yvonne for demonstrating how to roll the “popiah”
Ta ta~~ Ready to be eaten! It’s yummy, I had 2 servings of this 😛
It’s another wrapped dish. Lettuce was used to wrap the minced meat, diced wood ear fungus, carrots, capsicum & celery.
Steamed Fish with Anson Sauce (Market Price)
Again, this is chef home made sauce with his secret recipe ^^ with robust taste of various ingredients like fermented bean paste, garlic & ginger.
Soy Sauce Chicken (Small Serving – RM 25.00, Large Serving – RM 45.00)
The chicken was not over cooked, the meat still retained the juiciness.
Hakka Pork Belly with Yam (RM 26.00)
A dish that my mom hardly cook although I always requested because it really need a lot of preparation to cook this. The pork belly & yam was braised till soft & almost melt in your mouth texture. The gravy was savoury enough to go with multiple bowls of rice 😛
Fish Stuffed with Anson’s Dried Shrimp Sambal (RM 15.00)
Nyonya Curry Pork (RM 19.00)
Curry with strong lemongrass taste but I hope the pork can be more tender~
Steamed Pork with Salted Fish (RM 18.00)
Very moreish, I can finish my bowl of rice just with it!
Pork Rolls (RM 8.00)
Crispy outer skin with tender meat inside~
Deep Fried Pork Balls (RM 6.00)
Sampling one piece is definitely not enough!
Sambal Petai (RM 18.00)
There will either love or hate for this dish. As a petai lover I won’t say no to this 😛
Pea Sprout aka Dao Miu with Salted Fish (RM 11.00)
1st time I saw such “plumb” dao miu, fresh & crunchy, an ideal fiber supplement 🙂

Never leave Anson without trying their special brewed Teluk Intan coffee~~
