Final post of my Ipoh trip~~ Our last stop at Ipoh before heading back to KL.
Kebun Limau Tambun Chin which is open to public.
The fruitful pomelo trees, a sight to behold….
Mom, the avid fan of pomelo posed with the huge fruits excitedly~
We spotted some others fruit trees here such as guava and starfruit.
Of course we didn’t go back with empty hands, pomelo definitely one of the must buy item when you visit Ipoh, agree?

The boss of the pomelo farm suggested that we can stop by the Tibetian Buddhist Temple located not far away from his farm. With the assist of the GPS, we arrived the destination after the almost 1-2 minutes of bumpy road from the main road.
The Tibetan Buddhist temple is better known as Jingang Jing She by the Tambun locals and devotees. It is the home of Perak’s tallest Amithaba Buddha statue.
Statue of Sakyamuni Buddha, which is placed on the ninth floor and strikes an imposing figure even from afar.
The 13-storey Medicine Buddha pagoda at the Enlightened Heart Buddhist Centre completed in 2007 after more than 10 years of construction. Measuring at 72.5m tall, the pagoda offers a panoramic view of Tambun with its limestone hills and pomelo farms
We were amazed by the colourful religious architecture in the pagoda.
There are more than 200 statues being displayed in the temple too, very impressive collection!
Buddhist sutra bells
Some artwork painting was going on.
Some of the contributions (in form of big vases o.O”) from the devotees.
Part of temple was surrounded by a pond but the colour of the water was pretty disgusting >.<

alamak, i missed that place, my mom’s a huge fan of pomelo, will the price be slightly expensive than those we can find on beside the street? or they are actually cheaper?
i think they are cheaper since is directly from the farm without going to middle person, I guess so lah 😛
pomelo! got bring some home anot 😛

I’ve been to Ipoh so many times but I haven’t been to the Tibetan temple and the farm as well. Perhaps next trip there, I should make it a point to go buy some pomelo 🙂
Aiyo, how can u go Ipoh without bring back a few pomelos, must buy next time 🙂
I would love to visit the kebun and ‘pluck’ the pamelo…ehhehe. But not the temple. Don’t like to see the weird statues
