Shopping is one of the important itinerary for a shopaholic like me whenever I do planning for a trip 🙂 Being one of the shopping paradise at South East Asia, Thailand always at my top list when come to shopping for its affordable priced & trendy apparels. Although the choices at Hatyai are not as many as Bangkok but who cares, I still managed to bring back a full luggage and an additional big shopping bag of clothes, snack and knickknacks ^__*
Just a photos loading post due to holiday mood, enjoy!
Location: Kim Yong Market, located at Supasarn Rungsan Rd. This is the most attractive & famous place for shopping.
Location: Santisuk Market, located near Yong Dee Hotel on Nipututhit 2 Rd.
There is plenty of food, home appliances, chocolate, cosmetics, watches, CD games, etc. The interior is quite humid and warm, so please sear as light as you can if you plan to pay it a visit.
Table fan “modified” as ceiling fan =.=”
There are rows of shops selling assorted goods such as food, household products, kitchen utensils & many more.
Local street food stalls.
Fresh products such as vegetables and fruits in myriad of colours.
The bustling street.
Clothes alteration service at pathway of the market.
We also visited the ASEAN Trade Market (Poet tai), a roofed night market located next to Hat Yai Bus Station and open from Wednesday to Sunday, 17:00 to 22:00. It’s a mini Chatucak Market, selling clothes, bags, shoes, which included some collection from local designers. There are also a lot of food stalls.

ooh so many things to shop! whenever we are at Hatyai, we’d shop for nuts and those grilled octopus for souvenirs yum yum
My sisters bought nuts too!

All in stomach and came out dy, wakaka!
More than 10 years ago, the popular things to do here was eating bird nest soup and watching “tiger show” haha! Of course shopping and buying snacks were fun too 🙂
I did not do the both activities u mentioned 😛
will passby hatyai in feb to go koh lipe.. now I am just worry the messy situation in thailand will not end before my trip. >.<
Pray for Thailand~
I went to the night market and I ended up with an empty hands. I cannot stand the heat (even at night) and feel like suffocating inside the shops..
The atmosphere is bearable for me, maybe I’m too excited to shop LOL
