Century Pines Resort @ Cameron Highlands
The recently horrendous haze attack make me miss my Cameron Highlands getaway last few months back. *cough cough cough* It was an impromptu trip. I clicked on the “Book Now!” box in a hotel booking website without asking permission from hubby after a really hectic day in office #stressandde-stress

Located at Tanah Rata, Century Pines Resort has a strategic location with rows of shops, restaurants & banks are just walking distance from the resort. We reached there around check-in time and the process was swift and pleasant.
We walked pass this corridor bringing our luggage to our designated Deluxe Room at first floor.
Our Deluxe Room was spacious, clean and airy with wooden flooring, a large window at the “balcony” allow plenty of sunlight penetrates into the room. A wooden themed room with minimalist decor.
The comfortable super king size bed which is more than sufficient for 2 adults and a 5 years old kid 😛
Equipped with a LCD TV with limited TV channels, dressing table, no fan or air-conditioner but we were totally okay with it as the room temperature became quite cooling at night time. Our major grouch was there was no WIFI in the room and internet access only available at the lobby.
An old-fashioned sofa and coffee table right next to the glass window. The resort is rather old but quite well-maintained. *sorry for over-exposed photo*
Wardrobe and safety box.
Coffee and tea making facilities and complimentary drinking water.
The bathroom/washroom, and the WC is behind another door *weird no.1*
Equipped with bath tub but ironically there is a sign stating that the bathtub is strictly for shower ONLY *weird no.2*
Basic toiletries
Our “balcony” facing the mini garden
Breakfast was included and we had our breakfast at this cafe located on ground floor.
Indoor and al-fresco seats
Breakfast was below expectation both on spread and taste.
The lobby and check-in counters.
One of the waiting area
Pool games for hotel guests but not sure whether this is chargeable.
Ample of parking spaces in front of the resort.
Fountain and water feature in front of the resort.
A relax corner in a gazebo.
A morning walk around resort, photo shown are different types of rooms which included rooms with private garden.
Oh, I miss the clear blue sky~~~~
Sam still with her pyjamas 😛
Verdict: Good location as it is away from the ever crowded Brinchang town but restaurants and shops can be reached in walking distance. Clean & spacious room with huge bed although the resort was slightly dated which I think need a massive renovations 😛 Overall it was a pleasant staying experience for the $ we had paid.

my friend is just back from cameron highlands, she told me that it becomes more n more commercialise…i wondered how bad it is @@…anyway, miss the weather there
Commercialized is true but it’s unavoidable but the good thing is there are more working opportunity for the local 🙂

Time to pay a revisit, enjoy the cool breeze and buy cheap cheap strawberries 😛
