D24 Durian Mcflurry!
This is my short intro statement.
You MUST try this!
Today (August 24) is the official launch of McDonald’s D24 Durian McFlurry for Malaysia. As a durian lover, I just could not resist in getting a taste of the King of Fruit. Trust me, I have posted 2 entries about durian this month alone, see here and here
D24 Durian McFlurry (RM7.99)
Topped with beautiful golden D24 Durian puree, I can smell the thrilling aroma of the Durian which enough to make me salivating even before I digging in.
Have a good mix to combine the Durian puree and the vanilla soft ice cream, I can taste the luscious Durian flavour every spoonful as well as bits of D24 Durian flesh. Oh my, 100% of satisfaction in a small cup!
Verdict: If you are a Durian lover like me, don’t attempt to miss this ultimate King of dessert! Get it or regret!

You won’t believe me! Last night at midnight 12.30am (this morning) I went to McD nearby home and was shocked to see the crowd buying this Durian McFlurry. I had to wait and there were numbers given out to all customers to queue. I got my number and waited over 10 numbers before sinking my teeth into this yummy dessert. Yums!
TM, Are you purposely went McD at 12.30am to avoid the crowd? Malaysian can be quite crazy sometimes and willing to queue for something, even stay overnight in from of the particular shop >_<
Aiyo… I want also! Too bad no more McD in my office area.

I must be one of the weird ones to really dislike this. I cant stand the artificial sweetness of the durian puree. The first thing I did was to taste the puree without the vanilla ice-cream and was taken aback at how unpleasant it was. It tastes nothing like real durians. No. Just not for me.
Merryn, I’ve taste the Durian flesh and I think the taste is above average for me. What I can say is taste is very subjective π
