Product Review: Accel Mall Home Care

I consider myself a bit of foodie, where exploring new things are part of parcel of such life. No doubt that we all have our own comfort eateries that we will go back time and time again. But remember that your favourite eateries started with you first trying it.

So, I do like to maintain the same approach on other part of my life for example, by exploring new brands and perhaps you will be delighted by your “adventure”.

Home care is an industry where countless of new brands emerged every month. Let me bring you to this journey of such Odonata Home Care series manufactured by Accel Technologies.

Accel Technologies has been in existence since 2004 as a trading company and now is transforming into a manufacturer, distributing its own FMCG products, such as for Personal Care and Home Care. Read more about the company HERE.

I am basing my review on quality (Is it effective?), affordability (Is it price friendly), and availability (Where and when I can get it?). Okay, let’s start it, shall we?

First, is it effective and good?

Odonata Dish Wash (680ml)

Scents available: Apple Blossom, Fruity Melon, Minty Tea Tree, Aloe Vera & Cucumber and Avocado & Honey.

Used plant-derived ingredients and the formula is biodegradable, the Odonata Dish Wash is non-toxic, free from formaldehyde, parabens, phosphate, phthalates and chlorine-bleach.

With their enzymatic technology and special formula, tough stains, protein, starch, grease, bacteria and germs can be removed effortlessly.

My verdict: First of all, you must know that this dish wash doesn’t produce suds/bubbles/foam as much as your regular dish wash/detergent. But does it means it has low cleaning power? We’ve all believed the bubble myth where we think that if we don’t see bubbles, cleaning isn’t happening. But the fact is, bubbles and the chemicals that make them don’t actually serve a purpose.

After trying for 2 weeks, I’ve got used to its bubble-less and happy with its good cleaning power.

Since Odonata Dish Wash is made from plant-derived ingredients and free from chemicals that irritate our skin, so I can say bye bye to dry hands!

Odonata Floor Cleaner  (1000ml)

Scents available: Lemongrass (Insect Repellent), Misty Forest, Snowy Mountain, Summer Garden

Odonata Enzymatic Floor Cleaner series are made from natural derived sources with good degreasing power to remove stains and dirt. Its super concentrated formula, by just dispensing asmall amount of 12mls solution into 5 lits of wateryou can then clean the entire floor. Able to kills virus, germs and bacteria effectively. The quick dry and rinse-free formula makes your floor clean, non-sticky, no water mark and safe; suitable for most types of flooring like marble, tiles, parquet, cement as well as wooden surface.

♥My verdict: Instead of the common scents for floor cleaner available in the market such as lemon, lime, apple & etc, their scent range is less artificial and comforting specially the Misty Forest that I tried which literally make my house smelled more “refreshing”! LOL

As for the Lemongrass (Insect Repellent) floor cleaner which said to be great in keeping mosquitoes and flies away, I have no chance to prove it because I live on high floor and I don’t have such insects problem. I’ll pass this to my mom which lives in a landed house and will update you guys after she tried that.
