>Restaurant Tuck Kee
>
This is a quite famous dim sum eatery among Kepong residents. Beside the air-conditioned indoor dining area, they also occupied open air stall opposite the shop. But if you visit them on weekend especially Sunday, full house & customer waiting for table is a normal sight here π
One more warning : Parking can be horrendous since there is a morning market (pasar) near that area .

The fried carrot cake & chee cheong fun were cold when served, taste quite bad actually especially the carrot cake…very oily >_<

Char siu pao still my favorites dim sum here…. Thick gravy of char siu with condense flavour under the fluffy skin…. It’s yummy

They will come out with new din sum or dessert from time to time, this is their today’s special : fried yam paste with pumpkin filling. Taste not too sweet, good to eat π

>Hmm…fried yam paste with pumpkin filling, I guess it contains natural sweetness from pumpkin. Am I right?
>oh, tuck kee! has been eating there since i was a little boy…the food’s so-so but somehow, it’s always crowded, be it for dimsum or dinner… perhaps it’s feng shui..haha!
>little inbox : ya u r rite, & the yam also contribute the sweetness too π
nic : I think their standard drop already….but still a lot of customer …..
>fried yam paste with pumpkin filling…something new and special…
>i like their fried fish balls ~ ^_^
>It’s been sometime I didn’t go to Tuck Kee already. Miss their ‘nai wong pau’.
>squall : Ya, it’s new product π
ling : I never eat fried fish ball in a dim sum place, donno y…..
simon : nai wong pau’s filling is corn, am i rite?
>Wow, even though the food may not have been good or hot … your piccies sure make them look DELICIOUS π
