I cook: Pear Tong Sui
Another fruit base tong sui after this 😛 Ingredients used are not much different, only some plus minors 🙂
Ingredients
2 large size pears
8 – 10 dried longan & dried lily bulbs
2 honey dates (蜜枣)
A few red dates
Some wolfberries
Some rock sugars
5 cups of water
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 1: De-skinned and de-seeded the apples and cut into wedges. De-seeded the red dates too as the seed believe to be quite heaty to our body.
Step 2: Put all the ingredients into slow cooker, add in water and boil for 2 hours. Sweeten the soup with rock sugar according to preference.
Step 3: Serve hot or cold.

and can make into soup too. Just add meat and salt.
Never cook into savory soup, thanks for the suggestion & will try out one day 🙂
Normally I cook with 雪梨, more juicy ^^
I don’t know how to differentiate the types of pears, just simply get any in the supermarket 😛

Pear is always my favourite fruit and this is one brilliant idea to make it into healthy tong sui. Need to share this recipe with my mom =)
