Ninety Nice @ Bandar Menjalara, Kepong (Updated – Closed Down)
We were loitering around Bandar Menjalara area to find dinner inspiration before we heading to Rawang for our friend’s Chor 9 Bai Tian Gong (prayer to Jade Emperor). Our friend J and her son were joining us, we decided to settle our dinner at Ninety Nice that we never tried.
Ninety Nice is located not far away from Abang Adik Kopitiam that I shared recently. The deli restaurant décor was rather simple and it’s the chiller where all the good stuff is kept that arrests the attention. There were small selection of sausages, pork, beef, lamb, and salmon, are all visible in a variety of cuts and guises.
The menu wasn’t entirely extensive with rather limited choices on salad, pasta, burger, mains, and dessert. Some of the name and prices were missing since it was a treat from J ︶ε╰✿ and my request on their full menu from their FB page was ignored. (-‸ლ)
Caeser Salad (RM16.90)
Classic and decently prepared.
Sausage Platter (RM39.90)
The platter comprised of Fresh Italian Sausage, Jalapeno Sausage and Apple Cinnamon Sausage, served with fries, ketchup and their housemade brown sauce.
These sausages (which I believe were housemade) hit the mark, with the skin produced a satisfying crunch when bitten into and seasoning was in the right doses rendering a tasty flavour yet not too salty. I absolutely adored the burst of the sausage juice that filled the mouth as soon as I had a bite.
Pork Chop
To our surprise, the pork chop stole thunder, it was really hit it out of the park! The flavour of the pork chop was amazing, so robust and full of flavours. The texture was utterly tender and juicy, it barely need any sauce to enjoy its full potential.
Iberico Aglio Olio (RM28.90)
Tender pieces of Iberico meat and the nicely done Aglio Olio pasta, both complemented each other harmoniously.
Italian Carbonara Tagliatelle (RM24.90)
Tagliatelle bathed in rich and silky luscious cream laced with cheese, egg yolk, savoury diced bacon, mushrooms and spinach. A dish that proved to be memorable in a fine way.
Bolognese Spaghetti (RM18.90)
Generously coated with a light but vibrant tomato meat sauce, a classic pasta dish but was nicely executed.
Their house made dessert that we never tried before. With a texture that similar with nougat but softer, contains mixed nuts and coated with cocoa powder.
Verdict: We was largely contented with our meal at Ninety Nice and a return trip was on the cards to have their pork chop, pastas as well as other food in the menu again!

That pork chop memang looks inviting!
KY, that’s the main pull factor I’m going back to this place again.
Yeah, these type of deli where “you pick and they cook”, is a great place to come for affordable meats if the quality is good and the cooking skillful. I’ve a similar one near me, Anne Elizabeth @ Cheras. I like the looks of the pastas here which weren’t heavily drowned in sauce. P/S: I’m guessing the bolognese was Sam’s order? Hehe! 😉
Kris, I’ve heard of Anne Elizabeth. ^__^
Those pastas were really good, I’m willing to sacrifice my diet if I come back here again. 😛
