Tree 15 (CafeRacer 15)@ Bandar Sri Damansara, Kepong
I’m not sure since when they changed their name from Tree 15 to CafeRacer 15, but anyway, I just want to share with you guys my dining experience. ^__^

Tucked away in an unlikely place among automotive workshops, printing companies and hardware supplies shop, Tree 15 (CafeRacer 15) definitely a great hideaway spot, providing a much needed relief from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Although the interior isn’t really big but it is tastefully decorated with plenty of plants and knick-knacks. Check out the hopscotch on the floor!

Further into the back of the cafe lies a courtyard with ample of sunlight floods in to illuminate the area. In keeping with the laid back vibe, this section is donned with pots of leafy greens, framed pictures as well as some reading materials.

Walk up the staircase leading to first floor which is another creatively designed corner. Patrons get to pick the cozy sofa seating and counter seats with high chairs at the outdoor or the air-conditioned indoor furnished with tatami seats and normal tables and chairs. It’s photography worthy setting and inviting atmosphere has drawn some winning points for the cafe.

Non toxic crayons for the little ones, a much welcome gesture for family with kids. Service was friendly too during our visit.

Long Black (RM7.00)
The taste was on point according to hubby.

BIG Breakfast (RM18.00)

Came in a quite good portion enough for two, the breakfast platter was fully loaded with two sunny-side-up, a long chicken sausage, two ham, potato wedges, garlic toasts, salad and baked beans.

The flavours was pretty standard for all those processed food but to my dismay, the sausage and ham were drizzled with chili sauce and the whole plate was sprinkles with chili flakes. For a person who doesn’t like chili sauce on my food, this was quite annoyed me. Sam couldn’t share the food too due to the chili flakes and the chili sauce.

Verdict: The breakfast certainly not something I like but I truly enjoyed the ambiance and the service here. Since this place is so near to me, I don’t mind give it a second chance, a coffee and cake session perhaps 😛

Environment looks good but the food looks a little too greasy for breakfast?
Ken, not really greasy (perhaps only the wedges) but I really beh tahan that sauce and chili flakes!
The ambiance is really creative and cosy!
I am shocked that they simply sprinkled chilly over the food. That’s a bit too much and inexperienced.
TM, exactly!
I like the decor. I wonder what else is on the menu.
PH, theere are some Chinese influenced rice dishes and some usual Western style pastas and burgers.
The ambiance is very rustic….with mismatched furniture (like they got them from a garage sale or something…hehe!). Yeah, I’m also wondering why they would put chilli flakes and chilli sauce on everything! O_o Looks like you had to order a second plate…and asked them to hold the chillies! 😛
Kris, I will remember to ask them to omit the sauce and chili flakes if I every revisit them again.
i guess they should name it Spicy Big Breakfast!
Sean, I think this name is more proper for the food they served >_<
