Yen Can Cook: Spicy Salmon Steak
Chili! It can be found in lots of recipes to spice up your life (or food)!
Recently, incorporating Lingham Chili Sauce is my favourite way of preparing a sassy home-cooked Salmon. Let’s check out the recipe!

Ingredients
150g – 200g Salmon steak
1 tablespoons Lingham Sriracha Chili Sauce
1/2 tablespoon Lingham Thai Chili Sauce
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
1/2 tablespoon honey
Salt and black pepper
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 1) Mix well Lingham Sriracha Chili Sauce, Lingham Thai Chili Sauce, light soy sauce and honey in a bowl, set aside.
Step 2) Rinse and pat dry the Salmon, marinate with dash of black pepper and salt.
Step 3) Pour the sauces (Step 1) on the Salmon, flip to coat it in the sauce. Marinate for at least 1 hour.
Step 4) Preheat oven 200°C. Put the Marinate Salmon on baking tray (line with aluminium foil for easier cleaning). Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the Salmon is cooked.
Step 5) Heat a skillet and slightly cook the the balance marinade till thicken and serve dressing for the Salmon steak.
The Salmon steak goes well with simple tossed salad or white rice as well.
HAPPY COOKING!
Hmm, looks good… salmon is getting more and more expensive these days 🙁
Not only Salmon, everything is getting more and more expensive now >_<
卖相好好!隔着屏幕仿佛也能闻到辣味又鲜美的三文鱼。
谢谢你索妈~
Good!! This recipe is so easy making the fish better than most hotel chefs’ baking!
haha, thanks for your compliments TM. I’m still far for that standard, still need to learn and improve my cooking skills.
Nice! I actually don’t like cooked salmon. I like raw salmon and smoked salmon but cooked salmon, not so much. I’m not sure why, the texture seems a little gritty and dry-ish when grilled. I love raw salmon in sashimi or sushi though.
Oh Lingham’s! One of the best chilli sauce around. My favourite too. Haha.
Yes, I like sashimi Salmon too but having it at restaurant or buy the sashimi grade Salmon can be quite costly >_<
Oh your salmon looks so good. I love salmon. Though I prefer it raw or smoked, I do enjoy cooked ones too when it is done correctly. Yours looks so good I am salivating already.
Thanks Merryn. But my friend told me this method will make the Omega 3 came out. She taught me to slow bake the fish which is bake for for 45 minutes with 55°C to retain the nutrition. Maybe you can try this method 🙂
Wahhh thanks Choi Yen! I am gonna make this.
