Yen Can Cook: Strawberry Milk Popsicle
Yen Can Cook series but this time no fire is involved! LOL
Still remember I got some strawberries from my previous self-plucking strawberry experience trip at Genting Strawberry Leisure Farm? Those strawberries are too sour to be consumed alone, so I decided to make them into cooling popsicles!
Ingredients

Strawberries
Milk (Full Cream or Low Fat)
Honey to taste

Popsicle mold I got from Daiso
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 1: Wash the strawberries and remove the leaves.Β
Step 2: Put the strawberries and milk into blender and slightly blend well. Don’t blend too fine if you like chunky strawberries in your popsicle. Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness by adding honey.
Step 3: Pour the mixture into the popsicle mold, keep in freezer for several hours to set. Notice the bubbles on top? Try to clear them off or else your popsicle will looks as ugly as mine ~>_<~
My popsicle was a bit ugly because the bubble was formed at bottom part >_< But it didn’t affect the taste π
Sam enjoyed her icy treat, hope you try out my recipe and let me know the result!
A lovely icy treat on a hot day is great. Maybe you have to strain the mixture to get rid of the bubbles? π
Ya strain the mixture, why I couldn’t think about this!
Ahh… popsicles! My boys favourite. We ALWAYS have popsicles in the freezer. Any time, any day. ALWAYS! If you see an empty freezer, that calls for an emergency. Haha.
U call me salad queen, then u must be the popsicle queen!
that’s a very cool and creative idea for what to do with the strawberries! π
Other fruits work well with this recipe too π
You are so smart to blend the fresh strawberries inside!!!
Don’t want to waste the sour strawberry mah, hehe π
