Bonjour Garden @ Kota Damansara

It’s hard to miss this green house looks alike structure when you pass by Kota Damansara, luring you to have a peak inside.

Bonjour Garden, a visually attractive bakery cum cafe.

The glass house was tastefully decorated with pot plants and I adore the feel of natural light flow in naturally through the glass panels.

The quirky decors hanging in the bakery ~ Assorted of kitchen utensils!

Wide variety of patisserie and boulangerie display graciously in baskets, so inviting and make me wanna grab every each of them!

Further in is the dining area features lush greenery, fountains and dangling lamps.

The soothing and rustic ambiance with wooden furniture surrounded with plenty of plants.

Benches with comfy cushions seats right beside the water feature.

The ordering counter.

The giant fan on the ceiling but it can’t help much, I felt quite warm sitting in the open air cafe on that scorching afternoon.

Share the similar concept with Marchè, we were given a Guest Card once we were seated. An order chit will be given after each order and please attach all the order chit with the Guest Card and pass to the cashier when check out.

Flat White (RM 7.50+)

Cappuccino (RM 6.50+)

It taste quite bland according to my friend.

Vanilla Mango (RM 7.00+)

Classic Caesar Salad (RM 15.00+)

It had all the necessary requirements of a good Caesar Salad~ Romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, black olives, hard boiled egg, crunchy croutons, and a sprinkling of shaved Parmesan cheese completed the appearance of it. A minor grumbling here, I wish the dressing could be a little more 😛

Margarita Pizza ~ Small (RM 10.00+)

The thin crust base was smothered with plenty of melted cheese with the basic ingredients of tomato sauce, tomato cubes and herbs. It was definitely undercooked and rendering the pale looking pizza.

Aglio Olio Seafood (RM 24.00+)

Portion was big with decent amount of seafood however it was a tad too bland and oily.

Aglio Olio Mushroom ~ Small (RM 10.00+)

This version outshone the previous pasta by miles with al-dente spaghetti sufficiently coated with garlicky sauce infused with chili flakes, herbs and mushroom slices.

Grilled Beef Sandwich (RM 23.00+)

A piece of lean grilled beef with sliced tomato, onion,  lettuce, sandwiched in a ciabatta with a side of golden brown potato wedges. No complaint from my friend, I assumed it should be quite delicious 🙂

Mozzarella Cheese Steak (RM 28.00+)

Huge portion with 2 big slabs of steak lusciously topped with melted cheese and sliced mushrooms drenched in black pepper mushroom sauce. Despite being slightly overcooked the steak was toothsome and the accompanied side of grilled(?) vegetables also executed well.

Chocolate cake from the bakery, attracted by its look and the taste was equally good too, very intense chocolaty flavor.

Verdict: Good environment and the food taste wise but I’ll make sure my 2nd visit is going to be after sunset 😛 The bakery is like a treasure which I would like to come back to discover more!
