Colmar Tropicale @ Berjaya Hills, Pahang
Will you be able to survive two nights at Colmar Tropicale @ Berjaya Hills, Pahang?
Well, I stayed for 3D2N at there for company trip last year September. (Yes, you heard me right, is 3D2N stay at that boring place =.=”)
Winding road up to the hotel.
Hotel lobby and waiting area.
The check-in procedure was extremely slow, we waited for more than 30 minutes to get our room keys.
Colmar Tropicale, Berjaya Hills
Colmar Tropicale is a French themed resort modelled after an actual 16th century village at Alsace, France , together with other attractions like the tranquil Japanese Village and the senic Berjaya Hills Gold & Country Club.
The resort offers over 235 rooms and suites with a touch of classic Alsace architectural set in the replica of a typical French Village. There are also Ume Tatami Suites with 4 bedrooms complete with butler service, nestled within the serene Japanese Garden.
My room, Superior Twin Room, which is not really spacious and quite worn down especially the wall paper and furniture.
Equipped with 2 single beds which are surprisingly quite comfortable for good night sleep.
Working desk and the super duper old CRT television but luckily with access to ASTRO channels or else we will die of boredom ~>_<~
PS: Because there are really nothing much we can do at this little “town” which basically just a stretch of walking street 😛 Please refer HERE for my previous visit.
Wardrobe with only a pair of disposable slippers =.=”
Bathroom with bathtub and basic toiletries. The bathroom was not well maintained as the tiles were dirty accompanied by some weird smell 😛
Coffee/tea making facilities, complimentary mineral water and mini bar.
Our window view, overlooking the walking street.
Walkway outside the hotel room.
Ready to take a stroll?
Came here and fed the swans for 4-5 times as we really run out of idea what to do on our 3D2N stay =.=”
Some dining options at Colmar Tropicale, if you don’t mind forking out exorbitant amount for your meal.
The saving grace i.e. pretty serene night view .
Do check out their schedule for the stage performance which I found quite entertaining.
Verdict: The hotel room definitely not up to par as rated as 5-stars. Overall its a place to just slow down and relax but 2D1N is more than enough if you really wish to stay here 😛

Answer = NO!
I’ve been there 3 times. Nothing new each time I go oso. Instead the place now need some refurbishment and add more interesting stuffs.
I never think to go back since my 1st visit >.<
Wow… it still looks the same with my last visit 3 years ago. Agree with you, 1 night is just nice, 2 nights uhhh… not to mention that food choices there are pretty limited as well.
I only had their buffet breakfast & lunch since those were paid by company, others meal we just drove down the hill to feed ourselves 😛
