Colmar Tropicale
My dream to go to the Country of Romance ~ France might be faraway but I can come to this French-themed resort located just just about 1 hour away from Kuala Lumpur in Bukit Tinggi.
Colmar Tropicale, inspired by beauty of 16th century architecture of Colmar, a commune in the Alsace region in north-eastern France, situated 2,700 feet above sea level amidst 80 acres of rainforests.
Allowed my photos of the medieval French village & picturesque surroundings do the talking here :)
Parking available at this “castle”.
We were greeted graciously by this grand tower.
A must for tourist like us, take photo in front of the entrance ^___*
French-themed design shops and towers. Medieval era half timbered houses, colourful roof tiles and balconies with flower pots.
Hotel is available here too if you wish to stay overnight.
Shops & game stalls spread along the stone cobbled street.
Restaurants
The tower bridge.
The tower and the end of the street.
The whole view of Colmar Tropicale from the highest level of the tower.
Yours truly & Sam~
The wishing well. Hmmm…what did Sam wish for?
Street performance.
Sam: Hi bear can I be your friend & take a photo with you?
Koi fish pond & the adorable couple black & white swans.
Air gun shooting game.
There’s really not much to do in Colmar Tropicale but we enjoy the fresh cool air here
and we like the relax & tranquil vibe. Oh, there is also a Japanese Village located a few minutes drive from the French Village but we skipped that because the walk up to there is quite steep. (lazy actually when we need to carry along Sam if she not willing to walk ~.~)
Last but no least, photo of Happy Sam running around the field behind the main buiding to end the post 🙂
