Spacious and laid-back dining area greeted us as we walked up the steps toward Cuisine Gourmet by Natalie.


Pristine white table cloths and lilac chairs and wall afford a elegant & serene ambiance.

With tasteful decorations.

There are several menus here (menu change monthly, please refer to their website for monthly menu) and we opted for Nathalie’s Selection 5 course menu (RM 125.00), Seafood Menu 5 course (RM 130.00) & Mushroom & Meat Bento (RM 45.00)

Complimentary bread & butter. The bread was warm & fresh with crusty outer.

 

Three Finger Food

We started off with Natalie’s Selection of Three Finger Food.

 

Starter for Seafood Menu: Crab Cremeux in a Cucumber Gaspacho , Lobster Bisque Espuma

Complicated soup consisted of 4 layers:-Creamy & rich Lobster Bisque, crunchy & delectable crispy layer from chicken stock (what does it called actually?), bed of crab meat & cold cucumber soup. The cucumber soup was refreshing and I enjoyed immensely the crispy layer & the lobster bisque with robust taste of the “sea”!

 

Starter for Nathalie’s Selection : Tuna Tartar , Pan-fried Duck Liver, Asian Flavours

Very visually stunning presentation.

 

Main Course for Seafood Menu : Lemon and Thyme Marinated Ikan Kurau, Scallops & Oyster Tartar, Cress Emulsion

Fresh & flaky fish with minimal (bland?) seasoning & again the cress emulsion have “raw” vegetable taste that I can’t accept >.<

 

Main Course for Nathalie’s Selection: Veal Blanquette, Revised

 

Mushroom & Meat Bento consisted of salad, soup & mains.

Wild Mushroom Soup, Porcini Oil Cappucinno

Rilletes, Duck Confit & Fresh Oranges Tartine

 

Dessert for Seafood Menu:  Rose Meringue, Heart of Lychees and Raspberry Coulis, Raspberry Sorbet

Too pretty to be eaten but we polished it clean 😛

 

 

Dessert for Nathalie’s Selection : Crepe Aumoiere, Stuffed with Pears And Apples, Apple Caramel and Pear Sorbet

 

Hazelnut Mouse Glazed with Praline, Lime & Grapefruit Doughnuts, Pink Grapefruit Sorbet (RM23.00)

Dessert from ala carte menu with interesting medly of 3 items.

Dainty, colourful, & pretty, Natalie’s signature macarons.

Thin shell, moist & not sickeningly sweet inner, I love it!
