ESPAÑA Fiesta @ T@ste6
Let’s go ESPAÑA today! T@ste6 Restaurant @ Swiss-Garden Hotel & Residences Kuala Lumpur is showcasing Spanish Food Fiesta from 12th October to 12th November 2011. We don’t have to look any further to savor the authentic Spanish cuisines as Head Chef Amir Shah and his culinary team will cook up a gastronomic bonanza this whole month!
Bright & unpretentious dining area.
Open kitchen buzzing with activities.
Al-fresco seats with soothing ambiance overlooking the KL’s skyscrapers.
We began our feast with an array of scrumptious tapas. Tapas are a wide
variety of appetizers, or snacks, in Spanish cuisine. (We even have Chinese Tapas!)
Tomato Munchego
Fresh & juicy tomato sprinkled with garlic and Munchego cheese . Simple but the combination was impeccable. Richness from the Munchego cheese, strong flavor of the garli had balance out with the sourness & freshness of the tomato.
Smoked Duck, Pimientos, Onion and Tapenade
I’m a fan of duck, this definitely won my heart! Crispy baguette topped with Pimientos (grilled sweet peppers), sauteed onion, Tapenade (puree of olives, capers, anchovies and olive oil) and of course the smoked duck.
Prawn & Mussel Ceviche Salad
Seafood salad exciting flavors of lightly seasoned finely chopped vegetables and chunks of seafood. It would be a shame for those who love seafood to miss out on them!
Estafado Y Cebola
Chicken, potato and onion cooked in tomato sauce served with a sprinkling of herbs.
Pollo Picante
Chicken breasts cooked in a hot sauce made with onions, garlic, bell peppers, tomatoes, jalapenos, bay leaves and garlic. The gravy was moreish with addictive garlicky taste. No doubt it gone within a merely minutes, we polished off it clean by mopping the gravy with bread served along.
Paella Valenciana
This Mixed Seafood Paella was brimming with mussels, prawns & squids & the combination of all precious seafood giving it a wholesome flavor that we just could not get enough.
Chuletas
If there is only one dish I can choose from the menu I’ll definitely pick this! The grilled marinated lamb racks were awesomely tasty with robust taste of herbs & spices! I actually didn’t care much about the creamy cheese sauce as the lamb racks were delectable enough without the sauce 😛
Creme Catalana
One of my favorite dessert, creme brulee! Smooth, rich & sweet Vanilla flavored custard with contrasting layer of hard caramel. I can’t stop myself from digging in it until almost half of the portion finished by me 😛
Cinnamon Churros with Chocolate Sauce
Churros, sometimes referred as a Spanish doughnut, is a fried-dough pastry-based snack which normally eaten for breakfast dipped in hot chocolate.
The Spanish Food Fiesta is available daily from 12.00pm –12.00am at ala-carte price starting from RM12++ for Tapas and RM 60++ for individual tapas for 2 persons.
