High Tea Set @ Renoma Cafe Gallery

Thanks to group buy website, I had a chance visit one of the most stylish restaurant/cafe in town some times ago with my partners-in-crime for their afternoon high tea. Renoma Cafe Gallery, hailing all the way from Paris not only a restaurant but a fashion boutique and an art gallery.

The main dining area ~ tables with black & white checkers table cloth placed quite cramped within the space.

Some other seating also available such as high tables with bar stools and some seats at bar counter.

The eye-catching light bulbs hovering from the ceiling make me thought of SPIDER!

The in house brand fashions and accessories on display too but not sure whether they are on sale.

A choices of coffee or tea came with each set of afternoon high tea and the selections were quite satisfying.

Served with ordinary plates instead of the traditional 3-tier tray, we got 3 types of savory open sandwiches, a scone served with fresh cream and fruit jam & 4 types of French pastries.

Smoked duck meat (?) open sandwich

The bite size open sandwiches were just ok, nothing really outstanding.

 How about the sweet one?

The scone was decent, buttery and crumbly however it can be tasted better if served with clotted cream 😛

The petite size pastries looks good but weren’t anything great to shout about~~

Verdict: The high tea seat definitely not something I’ve expect and far from impressive in my books however I adored the chic and trendy interior.
