>Since we planned to “raid” the DKSH warehouse sales, we conveniently had lunch at Jaya 1, PJ.
Here we went to Kissaten…
The restaurant has adopted simple white theme.
Although we came-in a little late, (bout 15 mins) for their set-lunch windows’ time but they graciously extend it to us :-).
Ume Chix Roll Set – RM 15.00
Chicken breast rolls were breaded then deep fried & served with plum sauce. Serving was huge but the meat was too dry for my liking.
Miso Soup & Chawanmushi which are included in the set.
Chawanmushi was super warm & tasty.
Miso Tonkotsu Ramen Set – RM 19.80
Serving was huge too with plenty of chicken char siu, bamboo shoots & fish cake. It even has a half egg thrown in.
Though, the garlic smell of the soup was strong for me 🙁
Gyoza in the ramen set.
Green Tea – FOC
One thing to note that the service was not too great as we waited at the beginning for almost 5 minutes just to get the menu >.< (p.s: maybe that's why they extend the lunch hour special for us... hehe)
