>Lala Chong Seafood Restaurant
>This was mom’s birthday dinner, venue suggested by sis, a place that have so many rave reviews – — Lala Chong Seafood Restaurant. They currently have 2 outlets, Ara Damansara & Kampung Kayu Ara, we settled our dinner at the Ara Damansara outlet.
Raw mango with plum & chili as appetizer to whet our appetite before the meal~~
Shiong Tong Lala (Clams in Superior Stock)
A must order when dine in at Lala Chong! I think the owner name inspired by this? Definitely their signature dish, well flavored with Chinese rice wine, ginger shreds & bird eye chilies. The soup was burst with sweetness from the fresh clams too~~
Pucuk Paku Tuna
The fresh & crunchy pucuk paku (a type of fern) tossed with chunks of canned tuna, it might sound weird but believe me it’s heavenly delicious!!!!
Oh Chien (Oyster omelet)
A pretty generic dish with generous amount of small oyster~~
Steam Tilapia with Ginger
I didn’t touch this fish because I don’t like ginger 😛 but the fish was fresh according to my mom 🙂
Jiu Yim Mantis Prawns (Pepper Salt Mantis Prawns)
Nice to eat when it was hot, crunchy & burst with flavor but when it become soggy when it get cold~~
Tau Foo Kang (Beancurd Soup)
A thick soup resemble sharkfin soup which generously laden with tofu cubes, crab meat, prawns & sea cucumber. It was flavorful but a bit to the salty side 😛
A must have facility nowadays huh… ^.^
