>Loong Penang Grill Fish (Stall 69 @ SS2)

>I am inspired by Rasa Malaysia previous post on Hawker Food. Though her post is on Penang Hawker Food, it got me searching my archive of hawker food in my computer.

One particular hawker outlets that I frequent at Klang Valley is the SS2 Food Court. I’ve visited one of the stall that served mainly grilled fish & related items.

Stall 69 ~ Loong Penang Grill Fish 阿龙烧鱼王子

Variety of shellfish & fishes

Clam a.k.a “Lala”

Balidong a.k.a “Suck Clam” 😛

Cockles a.k.a “Si Ham”

Bamboo Clam a.k.a “Zhuk Tan”

Another bigger clam a.k.a “Sa Bak”

Japanese Snail ~ their signature..

Fishes

“Sa Bak” in Superior Soup
The soup bountifully laden with clams, veggie, ginger & wolfberries. The soup tasted sweet & a bit spicy as they add bird eye chili too.

Portuguese Grilled Stingray
The thick flesh of the fish still juicy although the skin look like a bit burnt (but actually not ^.^). The spicy & sour sauce accompany definitely will give you a kick!!!

Butter Japanese Snails
The snails are de-shelled then cooked with butter, garlic & bird eye chili. Fragrant but the flesh might be a lil bit chewy =.=

Butter Choy Dam a.k.a “Nai You Choy Dam”
To my surprise they served veggie dish too!!! I never have veggie cooked with this method before, the vege is still green & crunchy with bites of the buttery egg.
